    I've used an electric smoker for ribs for a long time. Today I did St. Louis ribs on my Akorn. By far the best I've ever done! I did dry-brine them over night which I think helped also, but holy cow! I was amazed. Super juicy and tender. My electric smoker may get donated soon-I can do anything on the Akorn

    Interesting video. Thank you. You mentioned using char logs for this cook to see the difference in consumption but you did not comment on that in the end. Any opinion? Also, I searched your home page to see if you had any videos of char logs but couldn't find any. Thanks.

      Yeah so they lasted forever in the gravity. They took a lot longer to cool down when I shut it down as well and they took a little longer to get up to temp, not real long just maybe 15 min more than the B&b lump I normally use does
