Kinda hard for me to get used to the weird perspective, but seems like a good MMO.
it is odd to get used to for sure, it took me a few hours but I don't really mind it now
Yeah took me a bit to get used to not only the camera angle but being able to identify things in game that you can actually interact with vs. things that are there for show. Like getting used to spotting stairs. They kind of blended in at first but got easier to see as I played more.. There are still a lot of areas that are like hidden because of camera angle so sometimes I have to spend 15 minutes running around a quest zone just trying to find out where to go because the path is hidden on the backside of a hill or building.
The perspective screams Ultima, and I've also never been able to deal with it, even in those early games.

I wanna know how integral is 'life skilling' in the game ? Things like fishing , farming trees etc. can i do without or is it highly encouraged ?

I don't know whether you read comments or not, but I just wanted to thank you for all the effort you put into RF PoB, your video guides and website, and for the good time I had with YOUR build running YOUR atlas strategy the last season.
A bit of background. I played PoE in the early years but quit I think after they added act 10. I only returned to PoE near the end of Crucible league. I tried a couple of leagu-starter builds but didn't get very far. Then I found about you, watched your RF Jugg video guide, and something clicked!
For starter, I felt a sense of authenticity and integrity even from the first few sentences you spoke. I had never experienced that before. Then I played your RF Jugg and it was fun and effective, getting me to yellow maps, but sadly that was when the league ended. But I was pumped, and already hooked on Righteous Fire.
I played RF Inq the following league (ToTA) and I had blast! It was my first true league start and by the end of the week I've killed Eater and Exarch, was making decent currency with expedition, thanks to your guides and atlas strat. I had to stop because of real life circumstances, but I felt I was making progress.
Then came Affliction league and the RF nerfs. I started late so I came to check out your channel for updates, and I found your video titled: "Path of Exile 3.23 | Righteous Fire players in shambles". And let's just say that last one minute of the video gave me the chills, man. I don't think I'll ever forget the tone of disappointment in your voice.
So, I decided to try some other league-starters, and I did.... Four of them to be exact, but nothing clicked for me.
So, I rolled an RF Inq, and it is exactly as you had predicted, you hit a paywall around T 16 maps. And at that point I reached my tither with this game, or rather with the developers' "vision", then I've slept on it, then uninstalled this morning. Because what good is playing the game if it doesn't feel fun, right?
That being said, I thank you again for the one good season I had. And I shall remain subscribed to your channel and will keep following your content because you're a good guy, and you deserve all the support.
Do you know if the Mobile Potion/Vendor NPC and Mobile Bank/Marketplace NPC are 1 time purchases or is it something that gets consumed and you need to buy from the cash shop repeatedly?

Did the designer of the game not get their prescription sorted out?
The systems and the whole premise seem fine, even the cash shops looks ok in terms of balance but the price point seems pretty steep, for 12€ you get a wow sup or you play lost ark for free and pump the 8€ per month into that and you get AAA MMOs for that, if you arent into the graphic style as a selling point for yourself i just dont see the allure of this game, but the video was still informing and also showed me a new game so lets see what last epoch brings to the table soon, maybe ill check that out then
Eh it fits a niche, the game doesn't expect to have many players so it needs to charge the players it does have a decent amount. If a game like WoW had 10% of it's playerbase then it would need to charge $30+ a month. Just economies of scale really.

The housing situation in this game is atrocious and very unwelcoming to new players. Basically, if you didnt get a house on day 1 or day2 of release then you cant get a house as all small land spots in the game have already been purchased. I played through my free 3 days of subscription and was going to pay for the sub today but I dont plan on subbing now that i realized there no possibility of getting a house. I cant support a game that is going to give inheritly unfair advantages to a select few players simply because they were playing day 1 or 2. This system is unnecessarily antagonistic toward new players and needs to be changed with haste.
you had me until i have to craft all my gear. What a huge mistake just removing the dopamine from dropping a good item occasionally.

If you like this game you should really try Black Desert Online. It is almost the same but in really good Graphics
