WHO WE ARE
SkyFi Audio is a small startup business specializing in the purchase, reconditioning, and reselling of select high end audio equipment. We only buy equipment that we admire and are passionate about. No mid-fi, no gimmicks, and no junk.
Each piece of equipment is cosmetically restored and fully tested in our well-equipped lab by an engineer with 30+ years of experience in the HiFi world. If it does not meet or exceed the original manufactures specifications, it will not be sold. We are very selective about the equipment we purchase, focusing on mostly analog, high-build quality, American, and European built units.

Nice to see you restored the level controls back to original too.....
Will I ever get to hear these magnificent speakers... One day..
Hi there ,late to the vid. I own a pair of 4350's and found it safer to put the cabinet on it's back , perhaps onto a dolly, and then drop in the driver, followed by the hardware. Great store!
Dammit, your so fortunate to have obtained TWO sets of those gems!
Ive done a good handful of re-foams myself at home, inner foam diameter on the back side of cone and everything. Ive gotten it down where the woofer is clean and presentable, but def not as pristine as that pro job. WOW they look brand f&*king new! Im struggling with finding LF voice coils for my Altec 512 active system, I re-coned the squawkers successfully, but I may very well get the LF drivers done professionally now after seeing this! My Altecs also suffer from the same veneer peel @ the bottom. Luckily the finish is black / "ash" so im considering just filling in the lost veneer/mdf and then a coat some semi-gloss black paint.
Great video! Similar to the guys at Kenrick sound. Thanks Fernando!
Sweet! I sent my crossovers to one of your recommended shops can't wait to get them back sounding new after 30 years!
@Pocket Square I used the Speaker Exchange out of Florida. They replaced the caps on my 40 year old Bang and Olufsen S80 speakers. Turn around was about 3 weeks. I just told them to replace what they thought needed to be replaced.
JBL had black wire as positive back then. All JBL pro drivers I've used were + to black terminal. They all had the message 'Positive to black causes forward cone motion' next to terminal.
And yet the connections in speakers were all over the place. No idea why JBL went with + on black...
Can wait for next
Possible to verify port length please,
Good speakers
It will be nice if they also re-surface a bit brushed metal of mid drivers…
Nice, Fernando.
Glad you enjoyed!
I see I'm not the only one screwing delicate equipment with an impact driver, though I never allow it to reach impact stage, I finish tightening by hand.
We start with the powered stuff - everything is hand tightened at the last stage.
How many hours to restore them?
Not sure yet. More videos to come. Just finished the grills .
Go for active crossover
For sure. Do you have a model suggestion? We have enough MC30s or Jadis 845s to drive them.
Drill driver to secure driver and cabinet not laying on its back… 😮
