I also recently purchased the pirate aggressor pack. I now have the Gladius with the red paint job, as well as a caterpillar. I’m having a time of my life exploring all aspects of the game. I have a lot to learn about dogfighting.

Avenger thanks for the videos, as always! If you take viewer suggestions, a coverage of your must have bindings would be amazing. You don't have to go and show us what exact button just what to bind and your thoughts. All I got binded is target select and fire, but have no idea what to bind the rest to. I mostly play in the PU so I'm thinking of binding quantum to my stick.
I just realize that I could add the velocity limiter on/off toggle in the booster key, along the power set to thruster, it already have the option to be on hold and resume when not held; just be wary that if you tap it it will unlock it and reverse the held behavior. I've setted my boost key that when I double click it is reset power triangle assignment .
Having a Wingman is not a requirement; however, it will increase survivability; think of your Wingman as if you are on the ground with your Fireteam, you have more guns on target and have someone to cover you if you need to bug out to get into a better firing position. A pilot will need to use their Wingman in the same fashion with a slightly different twist, such as buying out to get your shields back in your ship. To answer your question on Wingman's role? 1. Cover your Flight Leader or the Pilot in front of you 2. to act as a shield when you need to fall back to recover Shields 3. To provide cover fire while attempting to acquire a beer firing position
glad you brought up boost aiming, i was not sure if that was a good or bad thing i was doing in my vanguard. i always seem to have to use boost when fighting with my vang in atmo to aim even. if i do not boost i cannot pull lead in dense atmos in my harbinger

Great video. I also noticed boost making your aim a lot less jerky. Sadly I tend to overuse it a lot but working on it! Also a good message there at the end. CIG has messed up a lot and the community is very frustrated but that doesn't mean we have to resort to massive negativity to anyone having different opinions - probably a good life lesson in general.
To be fair I found your channel only recently but my whole mental approach is now at least a lot better... Flying now that is eomething I am working on... I have the next mini Meta ... thereis a Rzer with 3 shields getting fixed next patch there I have given you the next in game White knight...

Hi A1, so I have seen an improvement in my combat skills but I've been trying to work out if it's better using decoupled with mouse and keyboard as it's far more difficult to keep slower momentum in a non linear direction pressing multiple keys at once with coupled. I would have thought a large amount of your following use m&k and wondered your opinion on it for m&k players. o7 great video as always
My question here is if you are boosting up over his nose doesn't that force you to pitch down onto the target vs pitching up. How does that work? Thanks!

My biggest takeaway from this was that I am boosting for too long. Your boosts are quick, and surgical.
Having under 10 hours on sticks, my goal was to make good habits before I had to break bad ones. So thankful for your videos right now!

Did they decrease TTK in this patch or partial patch? I noticed today that parts become red seemingly much faster.

THE PROBLEM IS the ping and it is laggy when fighting. I always get shoot while I am behind somebody.

Wait! When you say “ boost up” are you saying “ strafe up + plus boost” or just plain boost?
pretty sure he means strafe vertically up while boosting
Bottom thrusters means up strafe yes?
