I watch Hercules with my kids, because it's great and the icing is that it's family friendly.

It is such a delight to watch the clean, uplifting themes that you put into your movies with values and morals. I was introduced to Sorbo as an actor from an episode of Psych where he played a bounty hunter. I thought he was so cool and re-watching those episodes it’s amazing how much the culture has changed. This dude is awesome.

Hercules was my favourite show when I was a girl-slash-teen. Sorry to be such a wanton lass. I loved the characters and warmth of the whole show as well, still do, dearly. Hollywood is honestly a snake-pit cesspool and I'm selfishly pleased that my favourite childhood actor is a good, moral person who defied it's grasp. Honestly the speech Kevin gives here is like a glimpse into that brilliant, outspoken and warm soul who adorned our screens and filled our hearts back then. Lastly, a few years ago I discovered that Mr Sorbo was a man of faith, I didn't think hard on it, but I've been an atheist all my 37 years so to be honest I arrogantly thought "oh no, oh well, he seems nice, ily still". With the rise of cancel culture, hedonism, racebaiting, hateful speech and frankly demonic stuff seeping from Hollywood and big money in general, not to mention everything else happening in the world, I'm actually starting to look to faith and God, because if I'm witnessing what I can only describe as 'work of the Devil' then I feel I should be looking for guidance from an almighty of some kind, the Ying to the Yang. I mean, what is with the hypocrisy of these self-idolizing celebs and politicians and the like? Pushing ideology and unravelling things like decency, modesty and honesty like they're doing humanity a favour?! I guess we've been wrong all this time and are now blessed with their infantile knowledge?! Plus they and many institutions seem suspiciously anti-Christian (not anti any other religion) but almost like they have an agenda, lookin at you Baalenci. Hollyweird really puts the CULT into pop culture.

I grew up seeing Kevin play the titular Hercules. Besides the Disney Hercules, the Kevin Sorbo Hercules and Lucy Lawless Xena were the most badass characters on the screen at the time. Glad Kevin is standing up for wat is right. I've never heard anything wrong this man's ever done.

My dad was a drunk. My dad pretended to farm & lied to my grandpa who was an abusive asshole. My dad opened my skull over my right eye. He opened my knee so i could see me knee cap. He opened my shoulder so i could see my shoulder bone in the mirror. He ruined my pitching career because i threw hard and my changeup up unusually slow. My mom ignored my dad beating me and hitting me with farm utensils. She actually beat me with the wire end of a fly swatter. I protected her from a few beatings & ceramic plates being thrown at her. I just contacted DCFS, you know what they did? Nothing! My father should be in jail for life! My mother allowed it to happen! What justifies a child to be beaten from age 4 to 22?

Having said my previous comment, as a Christian I thought God’s not Dead was a really bad movie. Sorry, but it relies too much on the viewer buying in as a Christian before the movie even starts. It’s “popcorn” Christian entertainment.

I'm going to us this venue to pose a question to the Republicans. The question isn't actually about political affiliation or at least shouldn't be but let's see... How many people do you know live in apartments or rented houses? How many people do you know have no domicile? How many people do you know that "couch surf"? The Question: What do you think happens to concepts like "patriotism" or "citizenship" when you don't have a place to call home? What allegiance do you expect under those conditions? Please, try to answer the question rather than make a political response.

There was a time when all my friends & I were in rented, or borrowed, housing. At that time, we hadn't developed a sense of ownership & went to our rental management to take care of property issues. As we aged, we took care of others' property that we were renting. Took care of rental house as if it were our own. Eventually, we were able to buy our own houses. It's a progression. I sense your point is that people need a sense of ownership to feel patriotic or like a citizen & I agree. And I also think citizens need to understand their ownership in, & importance to, our country. They don't seem to understand that lack of sovereignty (like open borders) means no ownership, but our country is something we (ALL of us) DO own & are responsible for maintaining.
Most of us start out with very little - at least financially, but most move beyond that. Compare age demographics & with work experience, those who are inclined to move up generally do.
Look at those who struggle & ask why. Why would someone in their 40's not have acquired the skills that would help them move beyond working the counter at McDonalds (a starter job that many of us worked) ? There are as many reasons as there are people. Please take a longer view (age-wise) & see what you think about why some people struggle with homelessness & job stagnation. Does what you see support your previous perception? This exercise will take some time, so be patient. Best of luck to you!
Well let's start with where I sit. I have been center leaning right. Ok.
I have no problem working to fix the homeless problem. In fact I believe there should be no homeless people in the USA. We could afford to help out if we stop supporting all the illegals that come into our country. How much money could we save, and put to much better use? Like fighting the homeless problem? Think about it. How does the country spend on snap benefits, housing assistance, rent assistance, heating. And the list goes on an on . Spent on people who have not put any money back into the system. Ok sure most of South America is poor. Well America was not always rich either. We broke away from British control, fought How many wars to even get where we are now. If they don't like how their country is then stand up and fix it. Don't go to another country illegally. Fix your own problems. And let us fix ours.. the world would be better for everyone that way.
