Because she's impersonating Sofia Vergara. It's for a joke about the miscasting. The real Sofia Vergara may be problematic. But why aren't their more people with foreign accents in the Star Wars universe anyway. Yes, I know this takes place on a galaxy far far away but after all that galaxy is replete with people with Brit and a few American accents, but no others, even if we are supposed to be watching translations. Maybe the Evil Empire villains could have Russian (sorry Russkies, I know you are mostly really nice people, but considering Russia's current despotism), Iranian (again apologies to nice Iranian citizens, not their government; I've had a couple of Iranian friends), Chinese (ditto) and Korean (North) accents. And don't get me started on our homegrown alt-righters (in states one of which I was born in).

Well apparently the writers usually couldn't think of an ending .
Her acting like the "angry and horny" woman on SNL was very played out. None of the other comedians had the same redundant role but yet they had Leslie playing the same character over and over again. It was played out.
This sketch had a better fitting ending then most of the other ones like this, though
Then they obviously couldn’t think of one quite a bit then. She was the most unfunny cast member ever. Her constant yelling and over acting got old quick.

@@GVoodoo That pretty sums up his whole character though. He was nothing more than a stormtrooper who was black. The end of his character arc was finding a stormtrooper chick who was black. I mean, for fucks sake the writing was awful.
Meanwhile, on the Mandalorian, they did a better ex stormtrooper arc with Bill Burr in like 30 minutes. Bill Burr isn't even a serious actor and The Mandalorian guys did more with him then the JJ Abrams hacks did with Boyega.

That's why Corridor Digital's deepfakes are so much better than Collider's; they have the voice, manerisms, _and_ looks down.

It was great to finally see Chris Tucker again, I haven't seen him in years. I think he nailed his audition. I liked that they kept the clips short, improves the variety, lets us see a high number of impersonations, actors and one liners. This was A LOT of work, but it was fantastic.

It relates to the character she played in the movie Aloha. The character's name is Allison Ng, and she's meant to be of one quarter Chinese and one quarter Hawaiian descent.
Now Emma is of mixed descent, Swedish, Pennsylvania Dutch (German), English, Scottish and Irish. But no Chinese or Hawaiia. So casting her raised the issue of whitewashing in Hollywood.
