It’s called “buying fresh product”, not being cheap and lazy and buying frozen junk. If they bought their own grinder machine they could even grind their own meat for hamburgers. As a Washingtonian, I am absolutely pissed that they claimed you can't get fresh beef for burgers in eastern Washington. There's hundreds of ranches in that part of the state that can do EXACTLY THAT.

We don't sell frozen burgers. We buy them in frozen, but then we thaw them out, so that makes them fresh. 😅

A LOT of owners can't get the FROZEN thing down. Well it's fresh...but we freeze it. Maybe the confusion, especially with burgers is because McDonalds lays down frozen burgers on the grill, this dummy just makes the leap to "well it's not frozen when we cook it."

I have many of those small strip restaurants near me. I always wonder, and fear, how fresh will the ingredients be?

There are plenty of good family run restaurants around, just like there are plenty of decent chain restaurants. I don't think it's fair to generalise them all like that.

I still don’t get that get pouring the rotten liquid into the trash bag. Pour it down the drain (the boss even said to) or put the lid back on then put it in the trash. Pouring the liquid into the bin just gives you a big mess when you come to empty the bin later.
