I've always had a soft spot for these birds, and Barf looks like a sweetie. Not to mention very clean! Nobody ever said nature's janitorial staff had a pleasant job, but they really do need respect, pee or no pee. Turkey vultures are magnificent up in the air, but seeing one up close like this is a treat. Thank you!

I have always been fascinated by these amazing birds. We have lots of them here in Southern NJ; especially in the town of Wenonah which hosts a vulture fest each year to honor their resident vultures. They are beautiful in flight up there riding the thermals. I'd love to trade places with them for that privilege.

Thank you and as gross as those three things are I still very much admire Turkey vultures and love watching them soar. Appreciate the video, thank you.

4 th P....Poop.. Ive been dealing with at leat 50 to 100 everyday, for months at a time, for the last 2 years. Some of them are tagged, which tells me they were brought into my residential area. They poop all over my black metal roof. Its awful. Im fed up.

I would love to see Barf soaring in the sky. But all that other stuff he can keep to himself. His tricks of his trade.

He seems so calm and content!
I kinda like animals like this, who are sorta gross in our eyes but it's for a reason. Very important for the environment, and they actually seem pretty sweet despite the grossness

I have noticed for the last 5 or 6 weeks or so a few of these have been hanging around an old shed in my backyard in the woods. Why would they be hanging out around there and going into it?

Christopher Spain Well, she forgot to mentioned the 4th "p". Which is "Pay". They charge way too much for road kill clean jobs.
