@@RealEstateHappens From Lake LA in the '80s, when it was new.. And now Palmdale.. Yes, a lot of change.. Some good, some not so good.. But that can apply anywhere.. Overall I am happy with my living situation here, and environment.. Thanks for your reply to my comment 👍

@@nitestar57 I love Lake LA and the High Vista area for the privacy and large rural lots it offers. I also love the convenience of Palmdale and all the amenities it has to offer. Compared to Los Angeles the Antelope Valley offers a more peaceful lifestyle. ☮

    Thanks
What are the most common commuting patterns you see?
I work remote 3-4 days a week but I recently moved up to Palmdale.
I work in chino,ca and do that commute 1-2 days a week.
When I drive to work I take the 138 to 15 to 60 but on the way back I take the 210 to highway 2.
Just curious since it seems like an odd commute.
    Thanks.

Yes I take that same route often. 138 to the 15. That's the best route to take. I hate it when my GPS wants to route me through the Angeles Forest. I prefer the freeways and highways to all the twists and turns in the Forest. Congrats on your move to Palmdale! It will take some getting use to, but ultimately you will love it!

I want to sell my home in the Austin area and buy acreage in either palmdale or lancaster. I can't take this central Texas heat with humidity, and my kids are moving to California. Are there mobile homes in the area? I would like to start a dog sanctuary.

Sounds like you are looking for a mobile home where you own the land and in a rural area so you may start your dog sanctuary. Yes there are mobile homes available but not a lot. There are a lot of small homes some of which used to be cabins located on 2.5 acre lots on up which may suit your needs.

Sorry to hear Palmdale is not working out for you. Do you still live in the Antelope Valley or have you already moved? 🌴🏡🌴

There are trash cans everywhere now in Lancaster. 2024 now. If you can't handle diversity, then don't move here. Lots of parking vs. San Fernando. Air quality is better. A little hotter and colder. Not much. Snows a very little.
