- Half the Ways to die in Space Quest 2: Vohaul's Revenge.
I hope you appreciate what I go through for these. That second to last death actually DOES take forty mintues to occur. Then there's the "salesmen get out" and "run out of oxygen" deaths. They take a while too. And I won't forget the fact that I had to play through that final part TWICE because of the alien death.
Now that being said, I KNOW Vohaul is spelled wrong in the end credits but that's how it was spelled on the case.
And once again, I'm sorry if the music sounds kind of bad but it's the best I could do. - Zábava

I love how just about EVERYTHING in this game kills Roger.
@MrWhitman It is possible. The alien death is a timed event. If you finish the game fast enough, you won't die by a chest-burster.
As for how this won't bite Roger in the ass in SQ3, the alien possibly died when Roger went into chronic sleep in the pod. No longer able to gather nutrients from Roger's body, the baby succumbed and Roger's body absorbs the corpse.
Congrats for indeed having the patience to wait for the space station meltdown, I did the same many years ago! it takes that long, even on fastest speed! It kind of gets me, that if you escape, it says "PHEWW! You've got to stop cutting it so close!" even if you have more than half an hour to spare!
Suffocating in the jar was the funniest. It's so sudden.
I appreciate the effort you put into this, great fun to watch.

"Sudden" and "soon" are different things. He goes from peachy (looking) to choking dead in half a second. That's comedy.

Wish it was "sudden" I had to wait for several minutes before he finally died in there. That one would easily be missed if I didn't know about it beforehand.
A death at the very, very end of the game. Sure, it takes five minutes, but... Only in a Sierra game.
It's plausable. I don't know why you didn't lose. I never thought it was possible to finish if you did get caught.
@Daedelous2k I think it also depends on what speed you're playing at. I played through it twice, and each time the alien burst out in the exact same screen on the same route.

Funny thing is... I've seen each and every one of these in both videos. And just by playing the game normally.
Strange. When I played through this game a couple of weeks ago, my character was kissed by the xenomorph thingy, but he didn't die later on. Why? Is it because I was quick enough to finish the game?
@MrWhitman Of course, the best way to prevent the death is to play on Normal Speed. Those poor souls who were playing on Super Fast...
@RickTommy It's timer-based.After being kissed there is a certain time you have to finish the game.Weirdly enough, the ending doesn't change because of that.

No. You have to call to him if you want him to react to you at all. I left the game sitting there for a half hour and he didn't do anything.
@MrWhitman It is possible to finish the game before it bursts out, it's on a real time timer.
Yes it takes 40 min's on normal game speed for that affect to happen. It is plausible to beat the game before the affect takes place.
Also I have a theory on why if you lived long enough to be put into stasis why you won't die in SQ 3 even after getting kissed.
