    One of the best looking most underrated sedans on the market. I have a 2015 S hybrid. V8 power with 4cyl economy. I was averaging 42mpg driving normally 34mpg when I'm enjoying sport mode more. Mine doesn't have sound pump though. The downside is the extra weight and batteries eating up the trunk

    I commute 150 miles per day on two lane twisties in my 14 HS. It’s an ideal car for that mission. Passing is a breeze. Level 2 autonomy is a game changer for long drives. I hate making that drive in any other vehicle! And the car is fun to throw into the corners too. Just get rid of the run flats... stickier rubber really improves the ride and performance

Unfortunately, I crashed into a 100 or so pound deer doing about 60 mph in my Q50 and destroyed the car. Mine was a modded '15 Q50 3.7 Premium RWD with navigation. I'm thinking about buying another Q50, but a fully loaded & updated (infotainment wise) - low mile '20 Q50S 3.0T RWD, or a '20 Q50S RS400 RWD if I find a great deal. I was wondering, when you mention the instant torque is it only there when you take off from the line or also when you accelerate hard while driving. Also, is there a performance difference with the Hybrid sport and the newer hybrids? I thought they just had bigger breaks and a updated bumper.

    • @AtlasWilder

But I am always amazed at the acceleration and how much fun this car is to drive. It has more torque than my diesels. Its hard to upset this thing. The snow setting is needed tho when I need the AWD feature.. In the winter the mileage is still dismal but come summer I range around 33 MPG and for this much power- THAT IS impressive. Ok so that’s about normal from what it seems. I was concerned that it might’ve been a little low due to battery wear. Also would you happen to know how I can tell if my hybrid battery is worn out ?

    • @christianalessi1104

      I also notice with mine that it doesn’t like to stay in EV mode long at all even on the highway. I can do 65 on cruise control and EV mode barely stays on

    • @AtlasWilder
      @AtlasWilder  Před 4 lety +2

      EV mode is mostly on in lower speed scenarios, This is a performance hybrid not a Prius. When the battery is going bad lights on the dash will turn on, and your warranty is covered up to 100k so don’t worry too much. My battery isn’t as strong as it was 35k miles ago but it still accelerates hard.

    I have a 2014 Infiniti q50s hybrid, and I ran into a problem with the car. It says “chassis control system error” and whenever I come to a complete stop it says “warning place in park”. Do you happen to know what that means ? Any help works for me.

    The throttle response seems to lag 1-2 sec. I literally floor the throttle in sports mode and it takes a few sec for the car to react. It's not instant torque as with other cars in its segment. Is this normal?
