honestly, I totally agree they're a scam as what they were marketed for. but what they were good for, as far as my personal experience goes... my mom has MS and has a lot of muscle atrophy and deterioration in one leg and foot and as such, it kind of curls in and even with heavy shoes, she has a hard time walking. but because of the curve of the soles of those shoes, it allowed her to walk better than she had in years because that curve lent a natural movement to the ability she had and allowed her to walk more comfortably and naturally and without tripping. it was amazing. they should have marketed for that demographic with that info, I know a lot of people with MS with similar issues that I told about it loved them for that reason. still though, screw kim kardashian. 🖕 and pat on the back to that employee. love people that actually help people get what they need. 💚
The Kardashians have NEVER entranced me. To me they're selling a fake image of what "beauty" is supposed to be when we all know they get plastic surgery. They're beautiful plastic women and that's all.
But even if that was true, it's their decision to have surgery, The point is not the surgery, the point is the entitlement and dishonesty, the hypocrisy and the classism that they show, all of them.
@@SidereusOfTheFallen I agree that that is the most important part, but them being so dishonest about the surgeries that they have had is influencing our young women to think that they are not enough and then knowing that they HAVE had these surgeries, girls are doing everything in their power to alter their own looks before they're even 18. So I think it's worth discussion.

Fifteen years ago, when I heard that the Kardashians started a show, I rolled my eyes and thought, "HOW did these people get a show from a sex tape?" Throughout the years, they have pushed themselves into everyone's consciousness, scammed people for billions of dollars, flaunted their ill-gotten wealth, exploited their children & relationships, had their claws in our government, and preyed on/influenced an entire generation (spreading and indoctrinating negative, entitled, selfish characteristics that have permeated society). I know it's wishful thinking, but I genuinely love for them to just go away.

Boiii lemme tell you about the hockey world. Minnesota has a boarding school specializing in spitting out hockey players. And sport politics are on a whole other level. You want clique-y? Lots of “donations” tossed around and “do you know who my mom/dad is???” When they do get enough ice time.

Of course I googled and found the annual high school hair flow videos on Game on Minnesota! and the guy who voices them has the best voice.

Growing up super poor, the biggest lie that was constantly told to me was that, people who are successful have to do it by themselves, and owe everything to their hard work and dedication. I wasn’t told that is only part of it. More important a lot of times than what you know, it’s who you know. I say that to say, don’t ever be afraid to take a helping hand, or use resources available to you for the best chance of success. Without learning that, I probably would have never been able to rise to the levels of success that I have. Have a wonderful day everyone. Team work makes the dream work.
Yes!!! It’s very much who you know. I learned quickly that any area of work you are in is a small circle in most cities. Whenever I’ve decided to change jobs I always reach out to people I know at different companies. I’ve had a lot of success with getting my resume looked at sooner simply because a professional acquaintance helped.
It is also stepping on people. The amount of businesses and people this family has gone through is in the hundreds of thousands

A couple years ago we, my kids and I, were at the Barnes and Noble in the Calabasas to get some Starbucks and look around. The bookstore was completely empty. The workers notified us that the Kardashians were going to be there shortly for a booksigning and were going to arrive within a few minutes. There were like 2 other people in the store,who also were ready to leave . We left just before they were to arrive. Imagine them arriving there, but no one is there to get their book! Everyone left before they got there. It Just shows that people are tired of them....
I worked at a Barnes & Noble and a lot of the guests they bring in to sign books are very elitist and make demands of the employees. When Gabrielle Union visited our store, she made all the employees put their belongings in the shipment room and wouldn’t allow any of us to use the employee breakroom because she wanted to have it for “privacy.”

My father likes to say "you don't get to be a multi-millionaire (think on the higher side of this) if you treat your people properly" and he's right. It's possible to get to a certain degree of wealth while being a good boss with good product/service, but at a certain point, you cannot gain more while doing that. You cannot tell me there's any way in hell to get even close to the wealth they have without treating people like shit and conning them out of every single penny.
You do know that with that mindset and why of doing business then it is no wonder that they fail in the end.

It’s crazy to think when I was growing up I loved the Kardashians. Like, I was ‘keeping up’! The media’s criticism didn’t sway my opinion of that family, THEY did! I started to see through their toxic behavior, lies and manipulation of their audience, especially on young women.

I read a BuzzFeed article the other day that highlighted something I've been thinking for a while and i think you could make a fab video about it. It was the difference of treatment between the Kardashians/Jenner girls vs boys and how the boys are way more sheltered and kept private whilst the girls are heavily publicized and monetized.

As horrible of an outlook that I have on the Kardashians, when it comes to their father passing, I have the deepest amount of sympathy. I lost my dad when I was 13 after a two year battle with lymphoma. The thought of him passing in only 2 months?! I’m so thankful I had him as long as I did.

Second I feel sorry for them loosing Robert Sr. in two months as I lost my Mom in 2 months due to stage 4 kidney cancer that spread to her bones but other than that the Kardashians leave a bad taste in my mouth.

My thoughts on Nepo-babies. Its not about whether or not you work hard, its about your access. It’s like having an office set up like a club. There’s a velvet rope, the wait-line goes round the block, and being a Nepo baby means its more likely you get to cut to the front and get in. There are plenty of children of famous people who work their a**es off, but there does need to be acknowledgement of why they given the chance over others. It’s not about it being the reason for your success or the reason you were able to stay “in the room where it happens”, its about why you were let in the room in the first place over others who may have faced more roadblocks societally just getting to where the room is, let alone being let in. Once you’re there you can prove your place with all your hard work and effort like everyone else who also works hard. Acknowledge the privilege you are given that remove roadblocks for you that others may never see the other side of.

I had a horrible time in high school and I know that private/catholic schools, which cost money, are far less brutal when it comes to bullying because I went for a while during middle school. I don’t have a ton of money but my children are attending catholic school because I don’t want to them go through what I went through. But yeah, I’d have liked to have continued on until it was time for college and consider that difference experience to be worth the money under circumstances like mine.
I worked in a school in Manhattan where the tuition was $25k for kindergarten in 2004. So yes they do in fact turn everything to gold. It's a b line to any college ever and c suite connections

I just finished watching this doc of yours. I LOVE it! As a child I had curly and coarse black hair, even though my folks were white. In 8th grade a girl grabbed me by the hair in the bathroom and accused me of wearing a wig and being an n word. I promptly broke her nose in self defense. I was insulted that she would say I was wearing a wig and my dad stuck up for me at school and said since she grabbed my hair, she got what she deserved and I walked away without consequence. Of course this was MANY years ago, back when bullying was Okay and us victims were primarily punished for being bullied. (the 70's) Being the first Jew in a mostly Christian suburb of Minneapolis, I faced all kinds of discrimination for that and then of course I was fat. In some ways things are better now than they were then. Love your stuff Swoop! You are my new addiction and hero! Keep up the great work!!

My cousin went to a very expensive private school his whole life, high school was $30k+ a year. The education there actually was very very good, better than the public schools in his area and the schools around him are good to begin with. The school also requires all the students to complete an internship before graduation which is not required by the state and is not required by any public or any other private school near me that Im aware of. The connections at the school are also amazing, the internships most of them have are great thanks to the prestigious jobs most of the parents have. Lastly because of the level of education they receive, the clubs and internships the students take part in, and the connections that give them amazing recommendation letters and applications they all get into amazing college/universities. The tuition price is insane, but if I had kids and could afford it I’d heavily consider sending my kid to a school like Kim and my cousin went to.

He tried so hard to put blame off him and make it seem like people (and Paris) were upset over nothing when he distributed legit revenge p*rn.
