So I took my daughter to a dance class when she was 2 and their first recital was going to be like 3 months later. I decided not to put her in it because she was still too young (or so i thought) right before the recital, a few months later she started doing all the dance moves at home and I felt kind of bad like I should have kept her in the classes. I don't know if that's exploitation or not. I was just trying to get her into physical activity because she was in physical therapy previously and she had graduated and I needed her to continue to develop. she was born early and I want to make sure that she has every opportunity to physically get in line with her developmental age. I've tried swimming classes and she doesn't really like those too much and we also go to the park a ton but I think she really enjoy the dance class. Better because there was music and she likes music. So I'm going to put her back in the dance class and let her participate in all of the recitals of course until she doesn't want to participate. The teacher is definitely not mean like Abby and in this particular dance company they don't do any competitions. If she wants to do the competitions I'll win her. But if I meet and Abby you know I'm going to have to not participate. We'll find another dance studio. I went to middle schools where people were in magnets for dance, acting singing theater and some of their parents were really pushy and me, but they never had any mean instructors and several of my friends and family members have gone on to be professional dancers into adulthood without necessarily being exploited by their parents. As a matter of fact, one of my classmates a couple of my classmates were on. So you think you can dance? Not so you think you think and dance. What was that show? Al when Abby was on TV and the dancers used to audition and then one of my friends was on the dance mom's Miami. He was actually the instructor😂😂😂 And he's not an a****** like Abby. I came back to watch these docs and I’m very glad I did. I have a boss who I already knew was a liar and a manipulator, but it really clicked in my head that they are a narcissist. They once told me they also had ADHD when I told them it’s why I struggle with time, and it IMMEDIATELY set off red flags something was wrong with this person. After working with them longer, and hearing and seeing everything else around them and my coworkers, I’m pretty comfortable making that guess. Seeing them in that frame will really help me and how I can control my interactions with them. My new mantra “narcissist liar” will play every time they open their mouth to try to manipulate me

This may be off topic but as a white woman when a white man raped men no one cared. Sadly its happened more than once to me and in the one incident a it happened with a brown skin man it was taken seriously. Why is that? The injustice just hurts me. How many colored men are hurt by prejudice and white men get away cause it was my fault. I have a harder time trusting white men cause they have hurt me far more.

However, how many people are victims to DV and other sorts of violence, every year, hire someone or ask someone to do the same that she asked this boy to do, and they get 20 years or longer for it? Also, if he has DID and is on the lower spectrum of autism (I am also autistic), what she did, just for manipulating him, should have caused her to get far more time. Also, something with her just intuitively doesn't sit right with me, at all. Like something about her irks my soul. She could have gone to police, she could have gone to someone who would have done something. I know she had social media, so she had Google. There is zero excuse. Hey, I just found your channel. Was watching a video and I guess you tube auto played subsequent videos. I had sort of forgotten JoJo Siwa (I’m 46), but had a younger teenager during the Dance Moms train wreck era. Anyway, like any dumpster fire, I couldn’t stop watching your doc. It is so well done and I love your compassionate, empathic, positivity, and loving attitude- BRILLIANT AND MUCH NEEDED. You made my eyes puddle up when you started talking about injuries, chronic pain, etc., as I am an Army combat Veteran, having enlisted after 09/11 and no sooner had my honorable discharge, but picked up a crate of milk and herniated 3 discs in my lower back and 2 years later found 3 more in my neck…regardless, it was a very trying time in my life, as it ended it for several years in the way that I’d always known it…very active, athletic, very engaged and active parenting. I think it played a part in ending my 23 year marriage that now is in the process of being dissolved and it was just nice to hear such honest, uncensored (you don’t dance around the truth, or make the facts something they’re not) journalism. I just re watched this and you can tell that Josh is the prime example of a person that has been put down and let down his whole life and was so vunerable when he met Coleen it reminds me so much of myself, never knowing that love wasnt anything other then fighting alllowing someone to put you down believing them catching them in LIES and just wanting to make it work bc you fell in love with the idea of a person and all the lies they told you that you beleived and ignoring the red flags just to try to make something you really believed in work that was never real, being complisant and doing things you regret just to please this narsasstic person that you “fell in love with” that isnt real bc they dont know how to be real. i stayed with my x husband who abused me lied to me gaslit me made me feel like i was nothing like i was crazy controlling and paranoid and without him would never find anyone better and bc of the poor decisions i made with him bc i felt there was no other way only for him to turn around and weaponize it in our divorce and say it was my idea. is a horrible feeling but the truth always wins, bc i stayed truthful and i got custody of both of my kids, have been in couseling for 5 years and in a safe loving respectful trusting honest equal relationship, where i actually feel safe and loved and can be my true self and not be afraid of being abused or belittled is amazing, i completely accepted never finding love, and when i least expeceted it it came into my life. We are going on 4 years this dec and he is a better man to my kids and me then my x in every way. He loves me flaws and all and my kids. it takes alot of work to pull yourself back up. when i left my x my daughter was 4 and my son was 6 months old, i left with my kids and didnt ask for nothing from him except child support.. i didnt ask for spousal support bc i just wanted him out of my life. he tried to turn everyone against me, he told so many people lies about me mutual friends his family and now all these years later they are finally starting to see the lies and “come over to my side” i lived and live in the truth and for them to be coming to me like omg you were right im sorry is amazing. My x never apologized for cheating on me and everything else, he to this day cant bring himself to do it. When he put his hands on our son at 6 months old i finally said enough im done protecting you and this facade and told my parents, moved back home at 30 with 2 kids and lost everything. i cant imagine going through that one a public scale, just thinking back on how unstable i was. that was 2019 when i left and filed for divorce 3 days later after being with him since 2013 and knowing him since 15. being married for 3 years and leaving. its not easy to leave abusive manipulative sitcuation. he even told me that my parents would never let me move in and that he would end me if i left. but i did and thank god my son is 5 and my daughter is turning 9 in July. i wish Josh a happy life with Pam who sounds like a real one and he deserves all the love in the world and i hope he truly finds peace and happiness and surrounds himself with people who truly have his back and i hope if they want to start a fmily that he teaches his kids from his mistakes and is an amazing father, i really think he needs that bc he can give his kids alll the love he has in his heart and get it back unconditionally. he seems like such a loving man. she lost a great guy but she never deserved Josh, and i wonder how Eric feels knowing that he was brought in from cheating and how he trusts her not to do it to him. this was so moving. i love your coverage Swoop. thank you

I'm still 99% convinced that "Zanny the nanny" was code for giving her daughter xanax & that's what sadly took her life. It's no secret Casey was an extremely selfish person who's main focus at that time seemed to be partying. We all know there was no nanny. I honostly think she was crushing that sh*t up & using it to put her to sleep so she could go out & do her own thing. It's been a while since I've followed the story, so I can't remember, but were they ever able to get a toxicology report? How this piss poor excuse for a woman, let alone a human being, got away with literal m*rder is absolutely insane. Sick, sad world we live in.

My husband cheated on me so I cheated on my husband, such a nasty cycle. But we decided to stay together as we have kids and very VERY fortunately it brought us together. Discussing our wrongs and whys and what we need to do to make our trust stronger and communication better. Now I realize it was such a risk and I know the reasoning isn’t the best, sometimes it’s better for the kids to leave, but 10 years going strong after we learned to live with our stupid decisions.
