Your mom baking your birthday cake for you and making your lasagna special for your birthday just reminded me of how anorexia truly robs us of the beautiful thing that is having somebody else putting love into a meal for us - it makes me so happy seeing you able to enjoy these things on your birthday!!

The change in your personality, mood and perspective is insane. It highlights how irrational and numbed we become in the depths of an ed and how much happier and carefree and funny we are when we are ourselves. You have done it Ro, you've overcome what is highly likely the hardest battle of your life and I am so incredibly inspired and proud. Around this new year, i made a decision that no matter how much i dislike my body or how guilty i feel, i will just eat whatever the heck i want without counting calories, avoiding certain food groups,skipping meals strategically and so on. You ve helped keep me motivated to seek food freedom and a good relationship with my body,because i believe that is possible. LOVE YOU
