    "This hadn't been done before."
I call bullshit. Having a computer respond to touch input was done way before 2007.
A touchscreen on a mobile phone? The iphone 2g probably is the first, but thats due to it being the first modern smartphone.

    Consider the following:
Computers! Fucking amazing am I right?
Mobile computers have existed for about as long as computers themselves. The idea of "computing on the go" is NOT novel, and was done multiple times.
Even the first mobile phone had some sort of microprocessor in it. It was bound to happen that someone/someones would come along and think: "Hey, what if we can run pther software on these mobile phones."
Smartphones actually have quite a long history, and the iphone is part of it.
Long live the iphone 2g! It might of been a mediocre phone all things considered, but the fact that it was made _by apple_ changed mobile pho es forever.

Imagine if Steve straight up TOLD the audience: "Oh, by the way, I have 3 iphones here because of teething problems." That would be on hell of a flex!
