When Trump is quiet, no late night shows talk about him. What makes no sense is why a politician would put so much focus on talk show hosts when they should be worrying about policies and platforms that represent the people because that's their one and only job. When Trump bad mouths talk-show hosts that's literally the best thing that can happen for their writing teams because it gives them fresh material.

I don't think because DJT said something about talk show hosts that he is "putting so much focus" on them; it's not like he's doing it every single day. McCarthy approved the one-legislator Motion to Vacate rule, which before his term took five legislators to vote for removing the Speaker of the House. This means that anytime he said something Lauren Boebert doesn't like, she can unhinge her jaws and end this man's whole career. Welcome to the New Circus, boys!

Imagine if one department needs, say, an emergency healthcare bill to be passed right away, but the House is too mired in a vote to remove the Speaker because McCarthy said something that Gaetz thinks is "too liberal". That's time better spent on something else.
Because one person is too mired in bias to make a proper judgement call. That's why the previous rule said there should be more than one person who agreed that this was the right move.

It seems that if there is open floor debate in progress, on any motion, including removal of the Speaker, a motion could be made to suspend (or table) that debate in order to address the more urgent matter. I don't know. But I suppose if McCarthy were removed, that would lock the House again until a new Speaker could be elected. I'm beginning to see your point.
I'd still like to know if debate to remove the Speaker could be tabled if a more urgent matter comes up, one with bipartisan agreement as to its urgency.
