I have a problem bro, i've watched every q interview during this rollout 😭
Same😂 I watched the interview he did with Paul George and now im watching this.
Yuuup. Same
Same and idgaf 😂 shoot imma watch the next one and see this Nigga on tour
🙋🏾♂️
🫡
Finally an interview where they ask him real questions about the music and lyrics. Every other interview so far has been pretty surface level
Thats been my only issue with this album experience. The music is fire and full of ideas and stories that can go for hours but all these other interviews were more interested in basically reading his Wikipedia back to him
Watch the one he did wit Nedeska, stellar Hip Hop journalism
@@flyguywiththebowtie i did, she kinda went in circles w/ her talking points. Also felt she mostly approached him as a fan, these dudes are actually his peers/friends.
I was anticipating the drink champs interview and had high hopes but it was wack
@@flyguywiththebowtie respectfully the interview with Nedeska didn't do it for me because she didn't get to live with the album. She even admitted that she didn't get to spend a lot of time with it. I know if she had enough time to prepare she would kill it but she didn't. Honestly if they ran it back I would be locked in.
The BEST ScHoolboy Q interview!!! this has the most unique questions out of all the interviews I seen him in. Most interviewers ask the same 10 questions but Home Grown did it right. Thank you!
thank you
He wore that hat faithfully throughout all these interviews, even interviews he did last year with mackwop and vince
Aye I ain’t gon Cap I loved seeing the human side of Q in this Interview! This was absolutely fire everything he spoke about showed his realness and his intelligence 🔥 🔥 🔥
He act a lil'bit like a fiend.
@@FjKGKjFprobably old habits or he a lil anxious
I watched these dudes (black hippy) grind over soundwave beats, having local camera man shoot videos over LA and under bridges, being each other hype man back in 08 around the same time as Nipsey. Fast forward till today they are still the hardest group in the industry with each member holding their own weight
Facts same here. It's rare to find 4 talented, hungry, artist and they all be under one label. Top had the plan, Rock, Dot, Soul, and Q executed it 💪🏾
This why I been A fan of Q” the authenticity he always brought not to mention him rocking that blue hat in every recent interview because he really likes the hat 😂🤝🤝🤝
Soccer dad. Q comfortable with these dudes. great podcast yall
59:21 I'm glad he changed his mind and said so PUBLICLY. He actually practicing what he's preaching: if you said it publicly, you gotta rectify it publicly 💪🏾💪🏾
Q on Homegrown is a must watch
Lil Wyte had a song called Acid... Gucci Mane had a song called Pillz, Big Tymers had a song called Extacy... we appreciatte you tho Q! You a legend!
Lil Wayne called himself a pill poppin animal
Lil Wyte also had "Oxy Cotton" back n the day and UGK, Z Ro, Cash Money, Trick Daddy, 3-6 Mafia & Project Pat been making prescription pill joints since 95. 🔥 musik
Caint forget about Eminem as well
yeah south side beat everyone to drug rap smh
Watching a Q interview in 2024 amazes me 💯
Asap Rocky, Danny Brown, ScHoolBoy Q are my favorite rappers of this generation
Q keep making my day with these interviews
Great episode! Im new to the pod but yall really brought out a side of Q that many other platforms haven't. Subscribed!
"bean shooter" guddamn Q got the high level roasts lmao
This probably my favorite Q interview from this rollout
Great interview thank you
Next level this is a fire interview
Great interview - Long Live LA Legends like Groovy Q
Great interview!
Q one of the reasons I make music . Glad to see DJ Hed did this 📡
This album I have to sit with. It’s taking me a long time to get into it, but that’s normal for me, I be so stuck on the last album it’s hard for me to transition, but I know I’m a rock with this album hard once it hits me right
I’m liking all this you got quality video and lit guests
Real talk 💯 solid interview
Only the realest peoples at TDE 🏯🏰🔑
I need that vinyl up in my studio
Pause !!!
Real shit.. I started smoking weed at 30!
I respect dat
Tf lol
@@N0cturnalAnimaL never had an urge to smoke it until I got older & tried it..
I guess I'm lame now, huh? 🤣
@@anganamedchris nah bro just a weird time to start shits too strong these days you’re not weird brother
This is an example of why I’ve been saying that The West Coast have been creating the best high album quality level music for a while now. Human MC’s/Rapper’s and top tier production. 🔥🎼🎧
West coast artist still to this day don’t the credit they deserve. TDE the Best label of my generation but mainstream media will have you to believe that NY, The Chi or ATL been running hip hop the last 10-14 years. Which is a lie imo. 🤔🤔🤔
Danny Boy would win his match up in a Death row vs TDE doe. That boy could/can saang. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Danny Boy vs SZA would be crazy
@@Will-bn9km naw fr, raw vocals is diff.
neutered is craaazyyyy lmaoooo
I remember Eminem with pill raps - late 90's... I remeber Wayne as well. Some D12 members rappin pill stuff in the early 2000's
Don't blame yourself Q for the druggies
Got me wit the #beanshooter haha 😂
What an awesome interview! Respect to the interviewers, and HUGE respect to Q! He's a GOAT!! 👑
Love you Q! For real. 💙 Keep prospering, you a whole ass Rose
The way they shifted in their chairs when he said all the media shit was cap was so fucking funny. He stand on what he says fr 😂
Mac Dre is one rapper I can think of that rapped and did the drugs he talked about. Q show mad love to Mac Dre, messy marv and other Bay Area rappers. He be sayin phrase Yadidimean. He got that influence
It's "yerrrna" mean. But yes that phrase is influenced.
Bro when he called him a Bean shooter I was die’iiiiiiiinnnnnggg!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
thank you Q
🔥🔥🔥🔥‼️
Gotta clip up that Dad Vice. 😂😂😂😂😂 32:06
This will be the wildest time in America Hood shiiit since the father's of a lot of them , they were put away in prison for a long time and a lot of them are just getting out now but if you know you know bra .
Eminem was rapping about volume and other prescription pills back in the late 90s early 2000s. .🤷🏾 Still a great interview tho! Hoover Street, Neva CHange and HIS AND HER FRIEND will forever be tied to certain moments and periods of my life! Thank you Q🫡
thought it was called His and Her Friend but it’s actually called His and Her Fiend
I THINK ARTIST GOTTA UNDERSTAND THAT COMPARISON OF NEW AND OLD ART IS BASED IN SCALING GROWTH THE OLD ART IS A REFERENCE TO SCALE OR MAKE A ASSESSMENT SO YOU CAN MAKE A JUDGEMENT ON THE NEW ART ITS USUALLY NOT WITH BAD INTENTIONS
Real ones remember y’all got the Q interview 12 years ago
Groovy Q!
🔥🔥🔥
THATS DOPE HOW SCHOOLBOY Q TALKS ABOUT FATHERHOOD ........IFWY
Dope
I feel Q on how he feels towards his dad
Please listen to Mr.Godiva by Nevaeh East
This is top 3 interview of Q and not 3
respect.
Love the couch setup
Wu tang was always rapping about drugs lol
🔥
Underated lyricist everybody screaming kdot kdot nah y'all got to mention sza.jrock& schoolboy q they all went platinum & j rock held that tde flag high when the was underground
I wish he would tap in to his Honduran roots. 🇭🇳🇭🇳🇭🇳🇭🇳
Neutered is craaaazyyyy 😂🤣
Goat
🏁🏁
21:30 💯
Absolutely--- Jay Roc verse on MONEY TREES was that 🔥🔥🔥 over Kdot! Watts, LA. represent!!
GKMC is my favorite album, but Jay Rock might have my favorite verse on the album
24:24 💯
He got the woo-wop 💀💀😂😂💀💀
1:24:00 you’re supposed to be slick, take your shot
I bought OXY and Blank Face physical copies
@3:12 he laughs with a straight face and it's hilarious lol
the golf thing is real stuff.
Allah bless you
BLUE LIPS DEFINITELY DOESNT SOUND LIKE BLANK FACE I REPEAT THE ALBUMS BLUE LIPS AND BLANK FACE SOUNDS NOTHING ALIKE! Art is subjective but you have to be deaf 🧏🏿 to hear the same sounding album when playing those two.
for the record, his second kid got a “NO!” chat response on twitch lmao
“The soldiers don’t march” 💀
ScHool Boy Q ; bra check out the movie Trainspotting and you'll see how you might have been when going through withdrawals from the flavours that you were taking real talk Q , scotty boy from Scotland Hood Yard
D12 has a song called Purple Pills just saying
🤍
Snip snap, snip snap, snip snap
Beanie Sigel rapped about pills and lean early 2000’s
“Sippin on Syrup” was a hit in the 90s.
@@devzeppelin 2000 smart guy
DJ Hed not knowing many active black fathers is wild
A lot of ppl don't. And even if they are in the home, they arent present.
@@Shay416 which is crazier.
Get Punch back on the show!
Yeah yea ye got damn switch your LINGO
Crash talk was not wack !!!
Like if you remember gym class heroes rhyming about pills... Blessed is my cut Q 🙏🏽 check my show, music nerds only
I’m more black now than I was then!
Black shirt kept cutting Q off, that bothered me. Good interview otherwise
3 6 mafia was the first to rap about pills
I'm trynna eat
I wish there was a Blankface part 2
1:39 q keep showing me he’s delusional af that was future that inspired that for this generation and Mac Dre was about thizzles 💯
Soulja Boy was the first 😂😂😂
Nah you can thank slim shady for the drug obsessive rap lyrics and influence on rappers and listeners.
I don't like DJ Mustard... and I most definitely don't like mustard. I think he's an opp sometimes... Idk why.
After not like us... I stand corrected. I'm not following Kendrick like that but we seem to have the same enemy & goal. I'd like to reach out about my concerns sooner than later. I am somebody.
Love Q i had to stop watching when he said Kendrick is better then 2pac
He’s not lying tho, ur fragility just couldn’t take it lol soft ahh
It’s all subjective, but K Dot has done more than enough in his career to earn that respect. Won a Pulitzer, dropped 3 classics, kept it bout the artistry whilst still selling millions of records. He’s up there w the greats
Bro you high asf it’s not ringing no bells
🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊FIGGSIDE
Nah Wayne started “pill rap”
Em use to rap about pills tho.
“I hope they black!”
No energy , no personality .!
Schoolboy q
I never understood those "The Downfall Of" videos..
just pure clout chasing
I got luv for Q but when it came to rappin about Pills you gotta give that title to Eminem
Exactly and after him it's Wayne and Future everybody else just contributed to making it seem like it was the thing to do. Either way it ain't nun to want credit for
He compared TDE to Death Row, but if you compare TDE to NWA Family Tree, with all of the artists that came under Dre, Cube, & Eazy E TDE can't touch the NWA Family Tree lol Pac, Black Eyed Peas, Bone Thugs, Eminem, 50 cent, Game, Mack 10, WC, lol hell nah lol
@@MikeJones-pf4wdnwa is not a record label bruh lol that’s ruthless and pac game 50 and em are not in that category lol so no ruthless ain’t better than TDE and the not better than Death row either lol
Q can’t see Kurupt lyrically in his prime. Nothing Q has laid can fade Dogg’s Day Afternoon.
what are you on about? stop comparing and congratulate aritist for being unique and different. ??
@@chiuChi567 Maybe watch the interview. He compared himself, genius.
Oranges in the chat or im gone
