Turkey season is the best part of the year cuz even the misses are fun after the sting wears off.
You're my favorite hunting channel precisely because you show the real deal. I'd rather watch you miss than the others who only show their successes. Don't get too down. I've missed my share.

Happens to the best of us. If you never missed a turkey, chance is you haven't been hunting them for very long. 2 years ago, I missed two in one day.

We've all been there.. that's been most of my last two seasons for some reason. You seem as persistent and steady as they come. That's what it takes.
Everybody misses, you worked that bird very well. Quick Question, I have a hard time following your videos, found it alot easier when you numbered each year. I try to watch them all.

I missed first bird I called in last year. He came to my right and I twisted into position as he went behind a tree. Clean miss. But I sucked it up and filled both tags in WV over next couple weeks. Makes you appreciate every success that much more. Keep the great videos coming……👍🏻

You do a great job with videoing your hunts,great calling. Being twisted around trying to shoot ain’t easy. Isn’t it amazing how long missing will haunt you, I remember every one of them 🥲

Those birds can humble a person immediately at times. I think we have all had our share of misses over the years. Just makes me more determined.

I've done that more than once. It can be frustrating after all the work put in, but then you can look back on it and possibly learn from it too. Even with the result there is still no better feeling than being out there and calling one to you. I have no issue with calling the hens to me to bring that gobbler along. The only problem is all the eyes looking for me.
At the 3:50 mark it kinda sounded like the occelated turkey drumming without the song so to speak. Cool hunt. Congrats

I don't like it swinging from my gun while set up on a gobbler or the potential of snagging brush if I have to swing on one.
