They have such an epic sound, one for the ages, I remember when my music producer friend first introduced me to Blue Blood and I've been hooked ever since, such great memories sitting on my friends sofa watching music videos of new bands, I wanna throw my friend some love for all the good times, he's just released a new song that has that early foals sound, try searching Lonely Gimmick - Roll Me Over, he did it all himself on his laptop and I'm honestly so impressed

Genuine contender for one of the best songs they’ve released
No way the riff or melodies really isn’t that special for me it’s a hybrid between something like out of the woods and birch tree with some synths shame about lack of backing vocals in the recorded track . Lack of melody for me makes it quite boring although I would say the synths make it that more interesting. I would say 2001 is the best of the bunch so far . Each release so far though has its own individual elements to suggest that this album could be a better all round album than the 4th though. For example Wake me up great guitar and even better synths but has that annoying beat down section and nervous guitar tick that yannis which works quite well in something like snake oil or providence but hardly a disco number .

sadly he's got some kind of muscle tension dysphonia with his voice
I have this problem too as we have pretty similar voice types
this results in having easy option on screaming, but the fact is that your main vocal cords are not closing tight enough, so sometimes notes are getting slippery, timbre sounds weak, falsetto is dead, range is broken, and you need more voice and more tension to bring up qualities of your voice which is not healthy
this is a shame when vocalists are suffering from this thing, I got depressed for half a year when this got me as everything happened just in one day due to laryngitis
you need to constantly massage your neck, hire a physiotherapist to fix your next muscles from the outside, eat pills to relax muscles, do stretches every fucking hour, avoid eating before sleeping, not drinking too much of beer, sleeping only on hard beds and only on your spine - and then sometimes your voice will be back for 90% of power it had
and then, if you do not follow these rules, your voice can be easily ruined again within just a day or two of ignoring the guidelines
additionally, this is important not to be anxious as this results in even worse tension
so he's doing pretty good considering the disease
btw the reason for this voice problem is curved back and scoliosis
also on last lives he sounds like he does not follow the rules above - not sure if he is fully aware of his own condition lol

Are you sure? Usually you can hear dysphonia in someone’s speaking voice as well; yet Yannis’ has a really clear, stable, and non-breathy speaking voice.

Have to say I'm disappointed as it has turned into a mainstream pop band, the former bassist left may be a significant factor.

Nothing wrong with pop music, hell some of the best musicians out there utilized pop music to create some of the best records of all time.

@@karimenunez6926 I did not make it clear, but what I was saying is that they are not making exciting music anymore, listen to Spanish Sahara or earlier stuff, mindblowing still. Maybe this is why the average band disappears from audiences.
Really weird comment considering this song is the closest they’ve sounded to their ‘Total Life Forever’ phase in a long time. Just my opinion though.
