It’s a tradition to come back and watch this from time to time
totally
100%
so true
yes it is
CRAZY!
Shoutout to Jimmys hand for not completely falling off
The greatest Glastonbury moment ever IMO.
deserve to headline at some point
2022 I reckon
Absolutely, the crowd they bring, the energy, the tunes, the back catalogue, they have everything to be a headliner
I don’t think they’re big enough atm but in 2 or 3 years I think they definitely could
Hope I'll be there. ❤️
Joe Griffiths not big enough ! Dude they are fucking huge
Jimmy's guitar covered in blood will never not be cool
Still one of the best Glastonbury performances of all time, especially the crowd participation and Yannis jumping into the crowd before the last chorus - his voice is amazing by the way. One of my favourite rock bands. I wish i could have seen this live but seeing this on TV was one hell of a moment for a 14 year old who had just started to discover the band. This song made me fall in love with Foals
This is peak Foals, for all their huge tunes and live performances this one captures everything that makes them so brilliant
Foals' music never gets old, let's have a moment of silence for everyone who hasn't heard this performance yet! They are so good live! its as fresh as the day my music producer friend showed it to me, I had a hard time in high school but the music he showed me made it easier and gave me purpose, I wanna throw him some love while I'm here as we've been through a lot together, try searching Lonely Gimmick - Roll Me Over, it gives me Foals vibes and I'm honestly so impressed he made it, its one of those songs that make you happy when you hear it
you can tell Foals adore playing and creating music, this performance is electric ⚡
I had tickets to see them in 2020 but it was cancelled. I still think about how amazing it would have been to see them. Maybe one day ❤️🥰
still one of my favourite Glastonbury moments of all time.
Got to see them last year headline other stage, best experience of my life
Even now this gives me shivers
I will never get bored of this song.
The bass player has such a groove
His poor finger(s)...
It's actually Everything Everything bassist, since previous Foals bassist left
@@masonanarky :O
When you have blood on the pickups is when you know shit slaps! 😂💯💯🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
From 4:41 onwards Yannis is growling like Metal … powerful stuff
I’ve followed this band since they first came on the scene in like 2007 I believe. So awesome to see them playing massive gigs like this
You mean 2005
I just discovered them a couple weeks ago, can’t believe I’d never heard of them
I bought their whole discography already haha
@@rileytomkinson4330 that was edmund fitzgerald
nobody asked
This clip just gives me extremely high levels of energy :)
Upload the damn whole performance!
It’s on iplayer!
@@harryfreedman6866 Still not the whole performance as songs like Snake Oil were cut out cause BBC being the absolute braindead company they are, fucked up the entire set with sound issues and ruined at least 3 songs completely.
ColdScot BBC has a streak of doing Foals dirty, so I’m not even surprised.
@@hldx.z2393 The BBC didn't fuck it up it was RG Jones who provide sound engineering for the festival. I was there in person and someone must have switched off yannis' mic for the first 30 seconds of snake oil.
@@sethsteele9500 the BBC still would have hired them, and as glastonbury as a whole is run by BBC they represent the festival and the people they hire to do things in it
This live was so fucking intense, Foals is absolutely amazing
3:58 - “Let’s get in”
Bleeding while performing. That's something.
Tiny cut
Best live performance of this song. The energy they bring is beautiful 🔥🙌🏻🙌🏻
What a fookin tune
Looking forward to seeing these live again later in the month!
This is such a new wave, melodically and lyrically entwined
The best live act I’ve seen in many years. I’ve seen them 5 times and each was better than the last.
Hope i get to see them soon in europe
@@standafaces You will! They tour more than almost all bands so there’s a very good chance they’ll play in a city close to you. Even if you have to drive a bit to the show it’s worth it. I promise.
@@brianshickey they twice in Prague 😭
Played*
@@standafaces Cool. I’m guessing you haven’t seen them yet?
legendary
Love this.....I was lucky enough to be sat up by the Glasto sign watching it well and truly go off! Wish I was there now 😢
Iconic.
Only got into these after seeing this set on the 📺 this year, love them🇬🇧
I come back to this performance regularly just hear that bass😍
I watched this set last year, heard a little of them and they blew me away, awesome live act 👍🏻
Going to be watching them headline the other stage in just a few days!!! So excited
Amazing
Was at castlefield bowl yesterday for this and it blew my head clean off! Such a tune!
good sounding guitars, great energy
Jimmy - what a badass🔥🔥🔥
Was supposed to see them on the 5th of this month at Cardiff Castle. Instead of cancelling, we have been told to hold onto our tickets, and they've arranged it for next year. This is a perfect example as to one of the reasons why we love you guys so much! Cannot wait for 2021! See you then! 🤟
Unreal performance
No puedo dejar de verlo desde hace 3 años !!!!
Oh lordy! 😍
This is epic
since I heard it live couple of days ago, I came back 100 times, kind of addicted to this energy ...
Straight up 🔥
I’m going to see Foals this evening. It surely won’t live up to this but I can hope!
Sick 🔥
I should be able to like for each time I listen to this
100+
Proper Friday tune leaving work ready for the weekend 🙌
Oh yeah baby!
Great video! I really loved it, made me remember teenage years dreaming about Gwen Stefani watching a poster of her on my wall.
Gutted to be missing them at Kendal Calling this year

So groovy and the best live performance at glasto as he crawled into the crowd and screamed at them

Wow! INNNTENSE
I like how Yannis looks at Jack when he makes the fill at the wrong moment! 1:05
When that Sonic Youth esq riff kicks in....oh boy!
FOALS FOR HEADLINERS!!
Wowowoowow
It’s gonna go off today
Props to the guy that held him up at the end
Crowd be like: Oh, snap! I don't have a f&%#ing clue what this guy is singing about. These lyrics are some next level shit. But if I sing along maybe nobody's gonna find out I'm a complete failure and uncool AF. 😂😂
Yanni's face when Jack messes up at 1:05:
*I'm gonna kill ya mate*
😂😂😂
they only look to coordinate after having the error
this shit is fucking fire
Still on the playlist 🖤
폴스 짱
Jimmy's bleeding finger, bad ass!
Spicy
Holy shit.
Esto es tocar y dejarlo todo.
Sound effects in that guitar are crafted wow. Is it mixing pedals or a mix desk controlling that sound?
Where do you even find a shirt like that!? Beautiful.
I believe he wears Casablanca shirts 👍🏻
late to this, but that particular shirt is by 'Aries Arise'. I got my parents to get it for me for Christmas based off of this performance. Tend to wear it whenever I go see them!
Why was this deleted and re-uploaded? Took me a while to find😁
Просто ахренительно!
U pravu si sinko!
1:06 Yannis wasn’t happy 😂😂
this is so great. pounding like the doves in 2006
Is that blood all over that bloke’s jag? Talk about getting after it
Yeah man, strong broke and sliced his thumb near the start of the gig
BBC is on the way out.✌🏻
Rolotototota!!!!!
I was there.
