Hey! I’m planning to make a bunch of these for valentines and I have a few question I hope you might know the answers to! Can I make them ahead of time/ how long do they last in the fridge? Do they develop any spots overtime like discoloration or non shiney spots? Thank you !!
Hi Kristen! I'm going to be making a few for Valentine's Day too. I'm going to start two days before and I'm sure they will be fine. I stored mine on the table for a few days in a box and it was still in good shape. I would recommend making one now and testing it out to see if they develop any spots on it so that can give you an idea of how early in advanced you can make them. Hope this helps!!

You can use chocolate just put a little on the back of the decorations &’ it will act as glue when it hardens

Hi I think it depends on if it needs it, so if it's too thick then I'd add a little to thin it out a bit. In this video I didn't need to add anything. Hope this helps! 😊

Hi!! 🥰 Sometimes regular chocolate does melt right away I would try using Candy Melts or a Candy Coating if possible. They do not melt as easy. Also keep it in a cool spot or in the refrigerator. I hope this helps! ❤🥰

@@a.i6471 Oh okay I've never tried it like that maybe test it out and see? In my experience chocolate melts quicker and needs to be in the fridge. If you have to leave it out on the counter I would use chocolate candy melts so you dont have to worry about it melting. Hope this helps!!

Yes it is oven safe 😊
in my experience it cracked every time i took it out the mold even when using a good amount of chocolate and making sure it was solid , and the one time it didn’t crack it completely melted on me while trying to put the letter molds on it .

@queenxgolden I used that one for the first time a couple days ago and it was so delicate too!! So I coated it as normal and then stuck in the the freezer after just to let it get harder. When I decorated it, I made sure the chocolate I was using was cooled down so it wouldn't melt the chocolate heart. When I was all done I left it in the freezer till I had to give it to the customer. I told them to store it in the fridge till they are ready. (Because it had strawberries with it) If you can, I would recommend chocolate candy melts, I made another one with those and it was way easier and I didnt have to worry about it falling apart. Yes you can it's just extra delicate and melts easily. I've made it with both and it was easier with the chocolate candy melts. I hope this helps! 😊

Hi Haleena! Regular Chocolate is hard to work with. It does melt really easily. I would recommend Chocolate Candy Melts, it is way easier to work with. I hope this helps!! 🥰

Yes there's two ways to do it. I'm making these like this so my customers can add a surprise underneath when they get it. Or you can make two hearts and seal them together with the surprise inside. Hope this helps!

Yes just depends on the type of chocolate you used. Candy melts can be set on the counter if it's cool in the house and if it's chocolate then I would leave it in the freezer or fridge. 🙂
