My ex girlfriend was a boxing expert. She said size mattered so Iâm going with fury
đđ we dated the same chick
Terrible banter, mate.
Boxing expert. No such thing mate. I had Garcia smashing Haney and won some nice ÂŁ from it. All the so called experts had Haney. Loma beat Haney and was robbed.
Tank would smash Haney into another planet.
Size only matters when you lean on them. UYSK won't allow that.
@@binarycode9893 loma wasnât robbed of anything, Garcia purposely missed weight was CLEARLY the bigger man (size matters) was dehydrated and a Skelton against tank, AND popped dirty for PEDS, your assessment here is terrible lmao Fury is an all time heavyweight with a 6 inch height advantage and a 30lb weight advantage arm length advantage and a granite chin, he wins this going away
I'm hung like an elevator button!!!!
Usyk was 223 pounds, Buffer read it wrong at 233 but corected it later
Bizarre and scandalous really .. the weights are important .. if they were greyhounds.. no show.
He had one job đ€š
A million pound per show he gets lol
I think u wrong about that
How do you know that?
Usyk didn't come in at 233, it was 223, Michael buffer made a mistake and miss read the weight, this is already been confirmed.
Usyk is the same weight as as he has been for all his heavy weight fights. 221 to 223.
So? People heard 233 and didn't check up again. That's a big fuck up on the announcer.

Fury needs distance to let his hands go and can't throw anything meaningful on the inside. This is why he resorts to mauling, leaning, and flailing elbows. He's good at long range and good in the pocket - if his opponent doesn't have an elite inside game.
Uysk does have an elite inside game and will fight fire with fire in the pocket. Fury will not be able to manhandle him in the way that he did Wilder or Whyte. He tried to push Uysk at the weigh in and ended up pushing himself backwards đ This tells you who has the stronger core. It also tells you Uysk has been training his core in expectation of a barrage of shots that Fury will throw to the body to counter the barrage of shots that Uysk will throw to Fury's eye.
It's an interesting match-up but I lean towards Uysk for two reasons: 1) He's lived the life and that counts for a great deal as you hit middle age. 2) He's very good at punching *with* his opponents and landing more shots than they do. Wilder is a one-trick pony who can land one or two shots at a time. Whyte is the same. Fury hasn't fought any real combination punchers in years and he's lining up against one now who is a master at landing shots when closing the distance and withdrawing.
If you know your history, you'll know that this is *precisely* what Steve Cunningham and John McDermitt did to Fury. He lost the second fight and resorted to rough-housing in the first to get a victory. He won't be able to pull the same trick on Uysk, who I suspect will finally show a vindictive side and use some dirty tricks of his own. He's never shown any malice in the ring but he definitely has it in him and now is the time to bear his teeth. I think he jumps onto Fury from the opening bell, matches Fury's energy, but beats him through sheer work-rate and effort.
You're heavily underestimating Fury,Fury can do it all ,Fury beat wilder and whyte in that fashion Because it was the best game plan at that point, fury coming in lighter tells me he is going to be moving allot on the back foot utilising his jab and winning rounds forcing usyk to take risks ,Fury has a unmatched engine when primed,Usyk will possible fold late on as his size will drain him and so will Tyson ,but I see a very comfortable night for Tyson, winning by unanimous decision.
First can do everything on the inside
@@therobbieunited I've been watching Fury for a long time. He peaked in his late 20s and has been in decline ever since. He's fought no movers since Sefer Seferi in 2018. Everyone else he's faced has been a plodding brawler or the hopelessly limited Wilder, who only moves quickly in one direction - in. Wilder moves terribly in the opposite direction - out, which is why Fury changed his tactics to box on the front foot in his second and third fights with Wilder. Uysk moves in and out very well, but he also uses lateral movement, which is something Fury hasn't seen in volume since he faced Steve Cunningham. Uysk also knows how to deal with a long jab. Anthony Joshua throws a much better jab than Fury and he had virtually no success with it in 24 rounds of boxing. Fury won't be able to keep Uysk off him with the pawing jab he favours and he won't be able to dance around the ring in the way that he has with his recent opponents because Uysk (A) has an engine and (B) knows how to cut off the ring off. He also knows how to fight taller men. He destroyed Joshua, Joyce and Wlad (in sparring). He'll work out a way to close the distance on Fury. What will actually determine the outcome of the fight will be how it's refereed on the inside. Uysk needs to stay in the pocket to work. Fury will be doing all he can to stop that work. This will be where the fight is won and lost and much will depend on how much either fighter can get away with. I expect elbows from Fury and headbutts from Uysk. We'll find out soon enough either way.
â@@davesmith826 I still edge towards Fury via SD but youre breakdown was great
@@therobbieunited Fury is older and slower, hasn't taken care of his body like Usyk has. I think it will show up in the later rounds with work rate and activity. Hard to bet because the judges could cheat Usyk. Not sure if I will bet it.
Very good Paulie keep us link up !
Size matters and do not matters. Of course Canelo can not defeat a heavyweight. But any good boxer above 200 pounds can put anybody to sleep. If you know boxing history a little bit you should remember that many, many times the smaller man defeated the bigger, taller man. Concerning the possibility of Fury stopping Usyk, it is extremely unlikely: Usyk had 350 amateur, 6 semiprofessional, 21 professional fights. He fought the likes of Beterbiev, Mezhidov, Joe Joyce, Gassiev, AJ, Dubois, all bigger punchers than Fury. He was never stopped. Fury could not stop him not even with a baseball bat. The problem is Fury can not outbox Usyk neither: Usyk's volume is 40% more than Tyson's volume. The only way Fury can win is by elbowing, wrestling, headbutting, rabbit punching and punching under the belt. If the referee will allow him to do it.
You guys are sleeping on a heavyweight that is huge, has outboxed everyone he ever decided to do such with. I just donât get it. I understand thinking Usyk is a more technical fighter but I donât understand the thought process of Usyk running around Tyson whenever he pleases. AJ is not half the technician Fury is and those fights were somewhat competitive. I donât understand sleeping on Tyson whatsoever.
Great Post, yours is the most accurate prediction and comments of all of them. History tells us in most all cases the smaller quicker fighter has the major advantage. Now you factor in Usyk's advanced game, and will to Win. Not to mention his footwork and conditioning. And then also,Tyson Fury's declining game, weaker chin, and far lesser conditioning. So I just know this: Usyk-My prediction Wins!
Usyk was 223 fully clothed, wearing jewellery, and dripping wet. I suspect he's about 221. Same as usual.
You're right in one respect, I believe it will be close no matter who wins. Usyk, like Mike Tyson, is used to fighting bigger guys, he almost KO'd AJ in the last round of their last fight who is a much more dangerous puncher than Fury. Unfortunately its been "written" that you have to KO the champ to win, so that may play into it too. Tyson does have boxing skills, but Usyk has the edge there, all in all I'm picking Usyk by KO in the late rounds. By the way his weight was 223 not 233.
What's up Paulie, your beats are dope
Could go either way, but I personally think Usyk will be too good for Fury and get a deserved decision or late stoppage.I don't see Fury's size being a gigantic factor in this fight. AJ has a great jab and about the same height, still couldn't keep Usyk at bay. Fury can move a bit, but can he handle the pace of Usyk? Either way I think it's going to be close and we could end up with a split decision and controversy. Also I don't think Usyk will respect Fury's power that much and we could see him sitting down on his punches a lot more not being too afraid of the counter. Fury's best performance was against Klitschko in 2015 and that was half the punch output of Usyk - AJ and he was dead tired after the fight. Realistically Fury shouldn't be able to go 12 rounds at Usyk's pace without taking multiple resting rounds.
The late round push by Usyk in both Joshua fights was incredible and pace set will tell us everything
Putting aside exact weigh-in results, I'm surprised more people didn't point out how the size and height difference between them is NOT AS GREAT as everyone won't stop bringing up over and over. Tyson Fury is not 6'9 and 3/4s or whatever that ongoing prank of his has him. Uysk is not a middleweight, he's 6'3 and didn't anyone notice how big he looks compared to your pick of 100s of people he was standing with in all the pre-fight stuff?
Give or take some shoes, Fury is pretty much taller than Usyk by the same as AJ was to Usyk in their various 'face offs'.
Nobody mentions Tyson Fury is just 7 lbs heavier than AJ. Basically AJ if AJ had 7 pounds of back fat on his waist.
Obviously this video was recorded before he heard about the weight correction to 223lb.
Obviously
Good point concerning the cut - Usyk's backhand is on that side of Tyson's face.
Always remember boxers thought they were going to win every fight they ever lost.
Good point about Fury's cut in relation to sparring and the question of "has that impeded or restricted his preparation here."
Size never mattered and it doesnât matter to Usyk and he just proved it.
Waiting for this
Usyk won and dominated the bigger man
Yall acting like this is a 7'0 fighter fighting a 4'0 fighter .. these guys are literally 4 or 5 inches from each other... not to mention Usyk is not your average fighter. HES SPECIAL .... Yall gonna see tonight... all that size and weight shit means nothing especially when the heavier you are... the more it plays against you
Giving up a 5â height advantage along with a 7 inch reach disadvantage is alot simply from a jab standpoint. If usyk cant find his range he will be off balance throwing his punches. Fury has an excellent jab. Not sure how usyk gets in Range all night to score.
I don't believe Tyson has planned to come in lighter. His lighter weight is just a result of the training he's done - it just shows that he has done the training that's needed to get good cardio and strength. Tyson knows he needs to be able to move around the ring for the entire 12 rounds potentially so he's done the work. He's not gambling on getting the KO. I actually think he'll get the KO but he's prepared to be chased around the ring for 12 rounds and pick Usyk off at will and maybe get the KO. Usyk is not a guy who you can go in against with half a plan and hope you can pull it off because he'll find out what you skipped - what corners you cut - and he'll get you. Tyson is making sure he doesn't cut any corners and the result is a leaner, fitter, stronger fighter.
You right on the money aside from the knockdown that was a close fight
Iâm so sad I wonât get to watch this fight (like 90% chance I wonât). I look forward to the analysis afterwards in the coming days by all
Good shit Paulie
I've never seen any man get tired
I see the eye opening up.. and the fight is stopped.. Usyk wins. I think Tyson is more haunted at the prospect of losing... to be fair both fighters. However, Usyk is motivated by a country.. We cannot say Tyson has a country and has stated as much. Uysk is a lot smaller but has cat like movement and reflexes. Also, Usyk throws combinations.. Tyson.. one or two shots usually. It will be a war of ettrition that will succumb to an eye bleed....so insipid..
i think usyk will win one of the most skilled boxers iâve ever seen
Fury is good and he's dialed in but...Usyk is a great fighter and a cold-blooded killer.
This one won't be close in anyones eyes but the judges (expect a bad decision as usual as Fury is 100% the house guy).
Some say youâre only as good as your last fight !
He is definitely not as fat as his last fight ,Tyson that is
so wahts up now bunch of experts.......
Fight be fixed more money in fury and AJ next than Usyk
Boxing fixed? Surely not sir
And if usyk wins is it still fixed? Of course not, just getting your excuses ready for if he loses.
Leaning towards Tyson. I think Usyk has more work to do to overcome Tysons attributes.
I don't see Fury trying to lean on him, doubt that's the game plan
Size will matter because itâs not about how big a dog is in a fight, itâs about how big the fight is in a dog.
I don't consider the FN fight overall something to go by, except for when Francis switched to southpaw it kinda threw Tyson off, as did his kinda ackward unpredictable style due to being a novice and coming from MMA. Usyk presents similar, albeit from a more skilled and polished perspective.
You also note that Tyson bought himself time as he knew he wasn't ready for Uysk post the FN fight. His words at the time after talking with Turki were, :" I've just received some 'refreshing' news", after the fight had been rescheduled...
Refreshing.....
He'll be switched on for this.
Fury wonât be able to clinch Usyk and use his weight to drain him. Usyk rarely gets caught in clinches because of his movement. Fury also wonât have much success on the outside with his jab because Usykâs head is always moving off centre. On the other hand, Fury isnât easy to counterpunch at range when on form because of all the feints he throws which makes his opponents unsure when he is actually going to throw.
I can see this being a stalemate and lots of feints and tentative movement.
His movements overated! he dont exactly move like loma an hes been beat twice
A bellezza paolo malignaggi
đ€«
Usyk is definitely looking for the KO!đ„đ€đŸ
The weight of Usyk was called wrong Paulie, it is 223.19. Buffer misunderstood.
Usyk may drop and stop him either by changing levels dropping low, making Fury drop his hands, or he can time Fury's jab-straight right or jab-right uppercut, which he both shoots standing upright, which his chin in the air, with both of his hands low.
Fury comes into his fights according to the guy and style heâs fighting, so I believe heâs taking this seriously; certainly more seriously than he took Ngannou. I see no reason for fans not to favor Fury. In my opinion, Fury is going to target the body in hopes he can repeat the Dubois incident.
I hope to see a great fight that doesnât play out with Fury laying on top of the opponent. Itâs personal taste, but I hate that; that ainât boxing. But I do think Usyk has the conditioning to avoid it.
Tuff fight champ to me is a toss up..peace âđŒfrom uptown Dyckman
Fury gets schooled. He canât fight this long because Usyk knows how to counter Furyâs jab, Fury hasnât thrown high volume since the Wallin fight (you need volume to win the rounds), Fury canât use his southpaw stance because if he does that then Usyks left hand will be closer to Furyâs eye, his best bet is to chase Usyk around the ring with clinches and dirty boxing
Spot on analysis.. Fury did throw high volume of punches like you predicted & to be fair initially he won quite a few rounds
@@muzlp Yes, I must give him credit, he threw about 500 punches which is way more output than recent, also whilst i wasnt worried about Fury's jab, that right uppercut to the body was a brilliant shot.
I still think there is room for Fury to be more aggressive tho, again if we look at the Wallin fight, Fury threw 700 punches, I guess Fury cant get himself back to that level of fitness. Also suprisingly, Usyk seemed to hold his own in the clinch. Maybe all those rounds he sparred with Wlad helped.
This aged well đ
Paulie sometimes it really surprises me, you were such a good boxer, but sometimes you get it so wrong, even when it is obvious of who the better boxer is.
Thereâs hardly any difference between Joshua and fury in height.
Perhaps maybe if a taller fighter can actually use his advantages correctly maybe then size matters.
What about half the heavyweight division being taller than Mike Tyson ?
I think a good big man beats good little man is a moot point now days .
Skills pay the bills bottom line . đ
We all know the judges won't look favourably on usyk , the Saudi setup is cornered by Warren and Hearn I mean usyk just scraped a split decision over Joshua 2nd time round and whilst the fight was closer , it was in no way a split decision. I'd imagine a close fight will go to Fury with the ultimate goal being a huge fight of Fury Vs Joshua (warren Vs Hearn) for undisputed , hopefully usyk leaves no doubt and no margin for overly interpreted scoring
Give over
Nobody can bully Usyk. Or at least they havenât managed it yet. Fury though will make it dirty, hold and lean, more than Usykâs other opponents at heavyweight. I think Fury wins this and handily. Just has too many physical advantages. Heâs fast, too.
That fight was rescheduled cause Tyson wasn't ready his days a cut there was no cut he live to be in the cameras if it was a cut he would've been showing it on the media that cut you saw that was an old cut from previous fight Usyk best him
They misread Usyk's weight.
Who cares
Yea and?
â@@jorge5275And what? Paulie talked about the weight, not knowing it wasn't accurate. What exactly is your question?
â@@MishaElRusitoPaulie apparently. He said Usyk is coming in heavier (which isn't true) and that the weight exposes the game plan. And it seems you care the most since you took time to respond
Who is taking all the belts in Saudi Arabia?
Usyk by UD. Heâs the superior boxer and the face offs and interviews sealed the deal for me.
@@ObjectiveMedia face offs and interviews? ok.
Perhaps Tyson Fury. He can fight at 95% to get the win, primarily because of size, movement and reach. Usyk will need to be at 100% for his path to victory. Obviously the more skilled all round fighter is Usyk. But yes size is a significant factor.
Cheers.
Usyk. Fury will be exposed in this fight.
Usyk is at his regular weight.
The weight they gave for usyk was wrong
*Easy night for fury*
Much easier then anyone thinking,100%
Didn't they get the weight wrong on the scales and Usk weighed in 223lbs?
Look at how Haye beat Valuev. Small beats very big.
Haye v klittchko then ?
All fury has to do is make it to the final bell.
I think usyk is gonna get robbed...all the money wants fury vs aj...i definitely can see usyk if he wins retiring and not giving fury a rematch
I'm betting the draw.. the odds are crazy
I don't think it will go to a draw. If it does go to a draw, then that stinks of being rigged...like the first Fury vs Wilder fight. I think Fury will knock out Usyk in Round 10. Fury is going to use his dirty leaning and clinching and stuff that he borrowed from Grabimire Clinchko. That is going to be problematic for Usyk. If Fury does not do that stuff, then Usyk can do his thing better. But Fury is definitely going to headlock and lean and clinch on the smaller Usyk, you will see all that happening in the fight. Fury is going to try and do the run around the ring and he is going to try and move like Muhammad Ali like he tried in his Wladimir Klitschko fight. The slow style of Tyson Fury worked for his Wilder fights, but he is going to try and be speedy and he is going to try and run around the ring in the Usyk fight. Ngannou is a tougher match for Fury than Usyk is, even though Usyk is better than Ngannou. I think Fury wins by round 10 knockout.
Size will not matter. it's going to be like Manny Pacquiao vs margarito
Does Pauli ever get the prediction right? đđđ
Ngannou fight can be scratched IMO. He is big and strong and caught Fury. I got Usyk though on points, 7-5.
Mr Paulie would've been nice,If you was commentating on the fight, instead of the yes-men/company men on commentary.
usyk
You made a lot of great points, but Fury will STOP him
Paulie,
What room are you in. I don't see the skateboards. I don't see all the papers. I don't see the plants. I don't see the off-white lamp shade near allegedly smashing evidence. What room are you in today?
Having just rewatched the fury wilder 3 fight one thing is for certain Tyson fury is not getting knocked out by usyk his powers of recovery are second to none. Is it possible usyk outboxes fury possible slim chance but thatâs presuming he doesnât get clipped by fury and fury will clip him. I see a fury knocking out usyk or fury on points there will be no usyk win
No Usyk win? Next time dont underestimate Usyk~ đŹ
If usik doesnât read furyâs twitch and fakes then if a easy night for tf if he dos then it could be close

Size does matterâŠthe size of boxing intellectâŠ.Usyk wins.
Fury gets cut; Doc stops fight in rounds 8-10.
Of course it will slow down Usyk, when Usyk carries that extra weight.
Size should definitely matter in this fight. 6 inches taller 30 pounds bigger. What I don't understand is why Usyk would gain 10 pounds? I'm guessing he thinks he wants more power. Fury loosing weight to give him more quickness and cardio. The issue I see with Usyk is having no power, nor having great handspeed, nor great defense. He obviously has speed for a heavyweight but he's not Roy Jones or Muhammad Ali with his speed. The reason that matters is cause Fury is unlike any other heavyweight with his ability to box from distance with his jab, movement, feints, ability to box on his back foot, etc. All heavyweights besides Fury, Holmes, Ali and Roy Jones 1 fight, are stand still boxers who don't move much or they are like Mike Tyson coming forward with high guard. If Usyk had power then I could see him being more of a threat to Fury. If Usyk had more handspeed and elite counterpunching I could see it. Usyk beat AJ and the other heavyweights because he could outbox them. They weren't good at controlling distance at all and they were close in height to Usyk. Fury is way taller and uses his jab with movement. This fight seems very lopsided on paper to me. The size difference and Usyk's lack of power along with not having a big speed advantage to get close to Fury would be like if Shakur Stevenson fought Dmitry Bivol.
Look at them side by side there is no chance Fury is 6 inches taller then Usyk and he did not come in 10 pounds heavier the announcer made a mistake because the Ukrainian guy giving the number had an accent he came in at 223
â@@Pyongyang99when you watch the weigh in side by side, there's definitely 6 inches
Fury is nowhere near his claimed height of 6â9â never has been, never will be. 6â6.5â at the very most. Heâs only slightly taller than Anthony Joshua (6â6â) and Joe Joyce. He does however have a very long reach, which is a huge advantage. Hard to call a winner, should be a good one! đ
â@charliepragnell5791 not true I'm 6ft 2 I've been right next to him in Manchester. He's the tallest bloke I've ever seen. He was several inches taller than me. I'd say 6ft 9 is accurate but at least 6ft 8
Buffer called it wrong. Usyk is actually 223. There Was a leaked audio
Usyk winsđ
Is the cut real or was it just makeup to give Fury the extra time to cut weight. If Fury was ready before then why did he cut extra weight over the months since the so called cut occurred.
If the referee allows Fury to wrestle and hold and weigh all over Usyk then Iâm going with Fury by stoppage after he drains Usyk by ugly unsportsmanlike behaviour.
If itâs a clean rules based fight then I say Usyk by points or Fury by stoppage. I donât see Fury out working Usyk and if Fury can win then itâs about the body shots. Also if Usyk can pressure Fury then maybe Usyk by late stoppage but I think thatâs unlikely.
So who did u end up picking
And yes the ref saved fury from being stopped late
When Fury misses Usyk will make him look cumbersome, too many angles for Fury to deal with,I HOPE đ
High-level skills pay the bills usyk will school fury..
Pauline Malignagi! Who tha fook is that guy ?đ
Paulie I think Usyk tires Fury out with his fakes and footwork. Wins a decision in the late rounds. You still hang with your boy from Canada
The difference in pace and creativity compared to Fury's usual slow bear hug waltzes will matter - Usyk win by late stoppage.
Would love to hear Paulie's thoughts on the potential: John Fury vs Carl Froch + John Fury vs Tony Bellew.
The only person who beats fury is himself
Usyk won đ
Well paulie my mate my daughter says the same a draw
Usyk wants a boxing match but fury will win by turning this into a fight ,he will out dog usyk.
That's exactly right. Fury wins.
I like Usyk but I think it will be a stoppage of Usyk by Fury
lol even stronger puncher like AJ & Dubois couldnt do it đ Fury only chance was to win every rounds which he did pretty well up to the 8th round
@muzlp have to admit, got it wrong. Saying that it looked like Fury was going to break him down (body shots) in the mid rounds. But credit to Usyk, a well-deserved unified champ
Fury wins late stoppage
Usyk will not get knocked down
I think usyks weight will have a detrimental effect on his performance he will gas a bit quicker
turns out, he's 223, not 233
I think itâs a comfortable win for Usyk, Fury is too inexperienced after 5 years of inactivity and Klitchko being the only decent name on his resume
Fury inexperienced haha look how many fights he's had compared to usyk đ
@@lefthandlee whoâs he fought over the past 8 years?
@unbabunga229 beat wilder 3 times, an come back after doubling in weight, who's usyk beat, an you said inexperienced he's had ququite a few more fights than usyk
@unbabunga229 who have you ever fought ay big bollocks.......oh NOONE!
DIDNT THNK SO!
@@lefthandlee Usyk with 300 amateur fights? Beating Wilder is not an accomplishment đ đ Parker beat him without taking a single punch, Fury fought life and death, same with Wallin and Ngannou, who AJ walked through.
Stop listening to talksport for opinions on boxing đ
Easy win for Usyk. Early round knockout.
No draw thatâs a 13 to 1 no way Vegas tryna pay that out
Do you agree with Paulie that size matters?
Size matters but usyk aint wilder. He is master boxer. Usyk needs to move early and bring him to deep waters
Usyk isn't Wilder?
He meant powerâ@@peternagy-im4be
do not be shook if Usyk quits some of those european fighters have dog in them when its gets tough!!!
i can see that
@@paulcataldo5222 HE almost quit i seen his face in the corner when fury was putting it on him!!!
So Usyk wins then
thanks
đ
Bro no lie when I seen Paulie pick Fury so confidently, I put my money on Usyk split decision at +1000. Thanks Paulie đ
Sad isnât it, alleged great fighters only real advantage is his size. All things being equal tiresome feary wouldnât have gotten through wilder 1
Wilder was an overrated one punch one dimensional uber bum
