      Yeah, he's literally been around for two minutes in the heavyweight division. And this era of heavyweights isn't exactly great at this particular moment. A deluded and arrogant Tyson Fury who is well past his prime. Wilder the one trick pony. Joshua who is just a slow, robotic, power puncher (limited fighter). Then who else is there? It's hardly the prime 90s when you had loads of fighters who could compete for the top spots.
      So he's arrived in the heavyweight division and has completed it without much effort. And that's not really all that much of an achievement.
      Would Usyk have beaten prime Fury? The Fury that dismantled Klitschko was probably the best version. It would have been a more competitive fight.

And now Fury knows what works good against Usyk too so he might stop him before 9 rounds,, he knocked Wilder down in round 3 in the rematch and stopped him before 9 rounds they thrown the towel in,, that was at 271lbs or 277lbs or something like that. You'd have to take a risk, strategies and throw away the 1st 6 rounds, because that's what usyk does so successfully.
      Strangely enough I think a fighter who lacks technique but with a decent chin would fare better against usyk, a fighter who just looks for the one punch KO all fight as they wouldn't tire as much as usyks other opponents who he sucks into getting v tired in the 2nd part of the fight.
      Just a theory because at this point usyk seems unbeatable.

    Two questions;
    1. How many fights have been stopped and declared a TKO when a fighter has been stunned, is not defending himself by returning shots or raising his guard to protect himself whilst against the ropes just like Fury against Usyk?
    2. How can anyone justify (including the ref) allowing a standing 8count when a fighter is clearly so dazed and confused he cannot return a punch, walk properly, maintain his balance or protect himself and is at risk of serious injury such as brain damage?
    The fight should have been stopped in the interests of Tyson Fury's health, safety and the credibility of boxing. At the time of writing this, nobody knows if Tyson Fury is going to suffer a post fight event. The referee is there to protect as well as keep the fight clean and from illegal actions. It was a disgraceful example of referee bias!

A boxer fighting for a national championship in their 10th fight likely has a lot more of a career to save than a boxer fighting for the undisputed world championship in the twilight of their career. Not just about saving their careers obviously (saving their life is still priority) but at the very highest level its implied that boxers are willing to take on more risk.

By round 7 Usyk realised he had to take that risk because the fight was going against him. When he took it, he found he could get in, hit Fury and hurt him. That changed the fight. It just one judge gave the 11th round (which was very close) to Fury, it would have been a Split Decisision Draw. When Fury was using the jab and faints, jab-upper cut, jab-body, he was beating Usyk. Round 9 really did turn the tide and I agree that Usyk was the deserved winner, but I was expecting a draw as I don’t think it was that decisive in all honesty. Most at ringside also expected a draw; which says a lot. Both were battered, Usyk literally went to hospital for an MRI brain scan because his team were worried about him. I obviously support Fury, even though he plays the heel with his attention-grabbing tactics. It’s no surprise to me so many are sticking the knife in now. Usyk is an amazing boxer, but Fury is too. The simple fact is that had Usyk not have had that incredible flurry in the 9th round, the match would have ended as a draw based on the scorecard (even with Usyk taking the last 2 rounds that wouldn’t be a given as Fury would have had more in the tank). Fury was landing big punches and all it would take is for one of them to really land. I’m not saying he would win - but I have seen nothing that makes me think Fury won’t get these margins in the rematch.
