Blackout is a lot like the Soundwave from Transformers Prime. He never talks at all in the movie except for when he said “All hail Megatron!” in the cybertronian language, showing his absolute loyalty to Megatron and no one else, and the rest is just him doing his job and decimating anyone who gets in his way with no mercy, all up until his death. Rest In Peace Blackout, true Decepticon.
It took me till now to realize how much I love his robot mode. Way those wings fold up kinda give him this look like he's the horse-fly from your worst nightmares.
They need to bring him back for another film or series, you can’t just leave him behind! He’s too cool to be left behind! Every scene he’s in is a highlight

The few differences from Blackout bad Grindor. Blackout was actually smaller than Grindor. Blackout as muck more of s silent assassin unlike his brother Grindor, a hulking dumb brute. Blackout's were far more deadly than anything Grindor had. Grindor was supposed to appear more of a brown color but I guess it never really made it the screen. Blackout was way cooler than Grindor.

This may sound dumb. But Blackout has to be one of the more sweeter Decepticons (among the Decepticons). He chose not to use his massive Shockwave blasts so his friend Brawl wont get hurt. Showing he genuinely cares for Him. And when Brawl died at the hands of the Humans and Bumblebee, instead of backing up Megatron, he turned to Avenge his fallen comrade. A true brother to Brawl

Blackout absolutely hammered the military in the Qatar Base Surprise Attack. Sad to see him meet his end at the end of the first movie, despite being the first Transformer to see in the movie saga. Even though his alter-ego, Grindor, took his place in Revenge of the Fallen, Blackout had his reputation to uphold, whereas Grindor just subtracted from the equation. He's one of my favourite Decepticons because of his bulky design, his vehicular form, and his toughness against the Autobots and military, due to his heavy weaponry.

First impression on the carrier was amazing. The scene made me feel of genuine anxiety and vulnerability. Every other scene just feels like mecha spam. Not that they're bad or anything, but there's no feeling of dread.
I want to BE Blackout now. I can fly, have heavy weapons, heavy armor, make cool sounds, nice looking transformation and just look pretty intimidating. It's awesome!
