They hired an NFL guy who has no experience in the sport, has never competed in strongman, has no knowledge of the events and doesn't know any of the athletes.

It's a shame they are releasing the american production of WSM. It is really bad.

@@BenjieWinney can we stop using the word "dominating" every time someone wins? He won by 2 points, he won 2 out of 6 events, thor won 3 out of 6. He had a great win that year, but he didn't dominated it.

The fact that Belsak said "We have Hafthor in our group so first place is already gone, we fight for second place" just goes to show how dominant Thor was at that time.
Yeah that quote could be applied to pretty much any big competition for a 2-3 year period and it would be true.
@@elliottengstrand5988 Imagine competing at the Arnolds between 2018 and 2020 and having to compete in the deadlift and bag over bar with Thor in the group knowing second place is the best you can get.

The leg split log lifts needs to be stopped. It’s not Olympic lifting
