- This Mountaintop theme park is well over 100 years old! Not only does it host an incredible view, but it's home to some true classics, as well as two roller coasters!

I love channels when I always can hum to the outro right as it starts playing. Also went to Tibidabo a few years ago and was stunned by how cool it ended up being going in with 0 expectations.
That Friends reference 👏🏼
I live in a town next to Barcelona, you can see Tibidabo from where I am, at the top of Collserola mountain. It's a beautful park. The views are just breathraking
Love the friends reference in the opening
Fun fact: "muntanya russa" in Catalan and "montaña rusa" in Spanish just mean ROLLERCOASTER, yeah, the coaster gas no name, it's just THE rollercoaster xd
I did not go here when I was in Barcelona around 2005, and I regret the omission, even though that was before the coaster that is probably the main draw for a coaster fan today. Tbf it was a short visit at the outset of a cruise (and in some ways, I kind of wish we'd just spent more time in Barcelona). Doubtless I will be back someday because it's an awesome city.
If you want a Spanish amusement park with a view, I suggest Parque de Attracciones Monte Igueldo in Donostia-San Sebastián on the north coast. Way fewer rides but it's free to walk around and there's a roller coaster that has views of the ocean and a flume ride with views over the bay, which is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Three beaches with a gorgeous Old Town between them where you can go to a bar and chow down on Pintxos, the Basque snacks that birthed tapas. One of the few places in Europe I will DEFINITELY return to one day...
My home park!!
Went there 2 days ago, so good, very nice with the family . What a view
It's my home park too, the negative point is that it is managed by the city council of Barcelona
interesting heading to barcelona/port aventura tomorrow 3 days at the park and 3 other free was considering this park, perfect timing
Great review! GRÀCIES! 😍
You didn't mention the water canoes :( The first drop is a soaker and the second one lifts your butt off your seat
I just watched the new Uncharted movie recently and 32:25 through the movie it actually shows the big church thing in Tibidabo. I just thought that was a pretty fun fact.
And because of Covid, they took the VR glasses fom the roller coaster Express. It used to be very cool! And I think that in a year or so they will put them back :)
Most scared I've ever been on a ride (except falcons fury) was on the little ferris wheel on the cliff here. Didn't brave any of the overhanging stuff haha
To be quite honest with you I never knew it existed but it really does look like a hidden gem to do on my next visit
Very nice video. Thanks for posting and have a nice day too.
Superb 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
What the friends reference at 0:05 😂
WOW! THAT 1ST DROP : O
Wait, is that airplane ride really powered by the planes propeller? I didn't know that, that's crazy.
No. You can clearly see in some of the footage that the propeller isn't even moving, which is kind of a requirement. In other footage it's not even spinning fast enough to power a toy airplane. It's called wind.
@@kevinbhieey9188 Maybe it stopped spinning when it was still going cause they used it to get up to speed and thrn used its monetum to keep it going and turned it off so it won't use as much power.
@@kevinbhieey9188 actually it is propelled by the propeller, you can visit the park's museum where they explain how it works
@@maxhagenauer24 that's exactly what they do :)
perfect intro
I live 2 hours away from this park and I've never been there XDDD. Thankfully this summer I can go and check Muntanya russa
Was the beginning a friend’s reference because I remember that episode
yes haha
Just out of curiosity once you hit up frontier city are you going to rank the six flags parks?
thats the plan!
I went there in 2014 and it was the highlight of my Europe trip. I love the haunted hotel, but unfortunately, they only allow you to go in once
One of the more interesting of Barcelona attractions
It's actually a free-to-enter park, but you cannot ride anything and you can only stay at the top floor
oh interesting- that I did not know!
@@CoasterStudiosyes, the top floor is free entry, so you can just go up and see the views, or buy an special pass for the most emblematic attractions (Talaia, Avió...) :)
@4:10 Bravo Tibidabo
Grade A Intro. Sounds like a story I heard from Ken Adams though.
Okay but do they sell beer tho 🤔
why does this question not surprise me
Is this a reupload?
No
0:05 "years ago..."
Didn't you go there just a couple months ago?
yes. it was a joke referencing an episode of Friends.
Hey if you like haunted houses check out Terror Manor
Spooky!
NEXT TIME I'M N SPAIN. I'LL LOOK THIS UP. SO NEVER.
