Dai Vikram is the first part. Then they will do part 2. Then what he is saying is it will take it all the way to part 3 because lokesh planning on making it a franchise.
Kaithi is likely part of the universe but he means this one being a part 2 of the older vikram.

Hi, the machine gun scene is not from KGF, it was indeed inspired from Lokesh (the same director's Tamil film) Kaithi movie which was released 2 years back. The director Lokesh always has this Machine Gun and Biriyani as his signature style. Well, the Kaithi Tamil movie is soon gonna be remade in Hindi by (Vimal famous) Ajay Devgan himself... ஆண்டவர் டா 😎

@@jaikrishna174 I feel that situation in every mass entertainer and very reason why fans adore their hero even if movie bums out and normal audience cannot see it.
We pass it on as 'intense', 'emotional' tags if they act super serious or emotional. Because we see that portion as a piece and we will praise them. But normal audience don't understand why it's necessary or relevant to the character.
Now watch those movies again as an unbiased viewer and follow it only as a story book. I am sure you can judge characters in a good book. You will understand what I am talking about.
