Sleepytime is literally a masterpiece
Agreed
It really is.
The only TV episode that’s ever made me cry
My son never cared about Bluey, but I had to check it out, and wow
Combining Bluey with Gustav Holst, who I could almost imagine Tim say is the Hans Zimmer of his time, is the ultimate payoff
Greg normally talking about animation:
"Oh you mean that baby-ass cartoon show for baby-ass babies?"
Greg talking about a literal Disney Jr. show that he happens to like:
"Umm actually it's got some really adult themes and is for cool, mature, grown ups"
I remember Garty Witta telling you all about Bluey 2-3 years ago😅
Facts he was the one that put me on. I think it was a Games Daily or Xcast he brought it up and was like its the best show ever. My son was born round the same time so was looking for a show to watch with him. Took his recommendation and been stuck on it since
My wife and I just recently watched 'The Sign' and it was a beautiful little piece of animation. Bluey is teaching a generation of kids emotional intelligence.
Knowing Tim is the score/music guy I think he would 100% appreciate Bluey. Some of my favorite episodes are the ones without any dialogue and just animation and music
That’s the episode called Rain
The music in the Beach is by far my favorite
X-Men '97 is so good that my wife, who had no investment in X-Men whatsoever, is now binging through X-Men TAS because she can't get enough of it.
Good by cartoon standards and narrative sure
The intro of Bluey is musical red light green light. Whoever continues dancing after the song stops gets called out. Watch the intro and catch it! My wife pointed it out! We love Bluey!
It's called Musical Statues!
Unicorse is the favorite at our house! "Annnnnd why should I care?!"
The intro to Bluey is the family playing a game of freeze. When the music stops, the member of the family they call out kept dancing. It’s a great show that has brought me to tears more than once.
It’s musical statues, which is literally and episode
Hey all, was just wondering will podcast episodes 311 & 312 be reuploaded? Was saving podcasts to backlog while I worked on animating tonight and noticed they were taken down :(
As a Bluey household, absolutely love this episode ❤️
I've cried more at this show than any other piece of entertainment
I haven’t finished this episode but I 100% believe this is the best kids show for parents. They out-do Pixar in making a show for both young and old. I think Tim would love this for the world building and callbacks they perform. Nick would love it for the visuals and economy of storytelling. They can get heartfelt, emotional stories in 8 minutes that some 2-hour movies can’t even get close to. Cannot wait for whatever they bring out next.
Bluey is something I somewhat heard about but never understood, but once I had my son and started watching it, I can say it’s the GOAT of kids shows. I never watched something that’s so validating as a growing parent going through ups and downs with a kid. It’s like Toy Story of tv shows. It’s got something for both kids and parents and you all get something out of it. It’s amazing!
As someone that loved the 90s Spider-Man cartoon and never watched the OG X-Men, im still loving every episode of 97
I would guess Ben is about 2-3 months away from being obsessed with a random natural disaster. My kid has an encyclopedic knowledge of weather and specifically tornados.
I’m 26 years old
Yeah?
Just so Nick knows there are a bunch of adults crazy about Hot Wheels. I’ve been working retail for 15yrs and I see the same adults come in weekly (sometimes daily) to look over our Hot Wheels. They are always chasing some particular car.
Bruh I love that Tim is mixing up ATL and Roll Bounce.....hahahahahhaha, but yes both do have to do w/ skating rinks and had rappers in them. We def need a Kinda Funny In Review of Black/Hood classics. Please make Nick and Tim watch Poetic Justice, Shottas, Belly, The Wood, In Too Deep, Exit Wounds, Romeo Must Die, etc. Lol lets get a whole damn Omar Epps in review! Somebody make them watch 3 Strikes, Trippin, Blankman, Meteor Man, etc. Ya'll do got a lot of black fans, it would probably be a hit and definitely get u guys some growth in different audiences.
Taxi will always be my favorite. Shout to Bingo and my kids that always enjoy watching.
Was zoomed in on Tim the whole time he was watching, and I could tell where he was in the episode by his reactions
Bluey is the only reason to be proud of being an Australian nowadays (I am an Aussie and it’s a whole thing that’s not worth getting into here and now), so yes I am going to finally watch it after this podcast.
Aliens in review please make it happen❤
I've been campaigning for that and Predator for a few years now
@@ChildlikeMan I finally watched Prey a month ago. Holy crap is it good
Tim is 100% right, Zuck has a whole new vibe. Longer hair, new fashion…has nothing to do with AI lol Look him at UFC 300.
I’ve been watching old in reviews for Deadpool prep. Greg needs to start boozing again during the in reviews. He was way more hyped up on takes & flicks then 😂
Greg REALLY wants me to watch this show for toddlers
Kinda Funny x Blank Check with Griffin & David! Their current series is on John McTiernan
Tim, The New York Times is mostly a subscription service. You can't even get the Sunday New York Times unless you have the subscription.
Nick, the original X-Men cartoon, funnily enough, was one of the few old school cartoons that NEVER used the split episode (2 stories in one episode) format. The split episodes are new to the X-Men series.
Tim was thinking of Roll Bounce
The answer is yes, you should watch bluey
I saw hans zimmer live in concert a couple of years tim is going have so much fun
Nick you couldn't be more wrong about the hot wheels, the hotwheels subreddit is huge and thats basically just a bunch of adults obsessed with them
How about the random surprise episode rightfully called "Surprise!" I cried so hard
There are so many good episodes, but “Handstand” is what sold this show for me. My kids were completely distracted by all the activity in the episode, but I was riveted by the underlying story that my kids were completely oblivious to.
Peak television.
Tim loves/appreciates score and Bluey is THE best show at music and how score can affect you emotionally or add to the experience. Probably the best show on TV. No hesitation. Writing. Score. Acting. Animation. Lore lol. So good
it should be known that bluey airs on "free-to-air" TV funded by the Australian Government
I hope Ben gets really into Pokémon partly for Tim’s sake but mostly because it feels like it will hopefully make Greg enjoy Pokémon more.
Actually good for kids because they don't treat them like idiots.
I literally have no nostalgia for X-men '97 Greg, everyone is entitled to an opinion but that one is absolutely insane, just episode 5 alone is possibly the best Marvel content since end game.
xmen97 was amazing. i didnt even watch the og xmen. it was a great throwback with amazing animation and great story telilng
The Kong X Godzilla show is an all-timer.
Any chance we get a OG Dune in review? I watched the new Dunes and went back to the original. Pretty wild stuff.
Why is it every time Tim or Joey give there opinions about movies or tv, I just wanna jump out a window?
Joey's onto something
Alien vs Predator vs Godzilla vs Kong vs Freddy vs Jason vs Batman v Superman vs Kramer vs Kramer vs The Mitchells vs The Machines vs Scott Pilgrim vs the World vs Tucker & Dale vs Evil
Damb those are 3 banger Bluey episodes. My wife's favorite is sleepy time and my daughter loves onesies which is good because it district's her while we have a big cry lol
I have no real interest in watching Bluey but I did read the synopsis of "The Sign" so I could have the context. That does seem like an interesting concept for an episode and I'm sure that the way it ends will resonate with a lot of parents.
Bluey is a masterpiece - and for grownups as much as kids
The show is beautiful. I don't necessarily think its weird to watch if you aren't a parent. People consume media and that media allows them to 'feel' emotions or become absorbed in situations they don't have experience in.
Multiple episodes of Bluey reduce me to a blubbering mess
Bluey in review? Let's go
tim would be a charlie’s angels guy 😅 lol
I haven’t seen much Bluey but I will NEVER watch Vanderpump or any Bravo trash. This is a way better deep-dive episode
24:39 Bluey is just awesome.
Episode 5 of X-men 97 was one of the best things Marvel has ever done.
My best friend got shingles in middle school and my wrestling teammate got it his junior year of high school
Bluey is an incredible show about gentle parenting.
I wouldn’t have gotten through college if it wasn’t for Bluey
Great episodes. But 'Chest' broke me. Need to watch the newest three episodes though.
I love Greg but I’m so glad Tim called him out on his X-Men review. Not everything is for everyone but his specific criticisms didn’t add up for me!
I think Nick would like the episode Fairytale.
Everyone should watch Bluey
What is the Kong Godzilla joke??? 11:57
That’s what I’m trying to figure out too 😂
It's from their In Review for Godzilla x Kong: Frozen Empire:
czcams.com/video/hJSx3BTnVM8/video.htmlsi=PFkAtt-5O2EbjA8K&t=3564
@@Mike_L. thank you!!!!!!
I’m so happy that my bluey and KF worlds have collided
Think the T.I movie Tim was talking about was ATL
Nick... I'm 28 y/o and I had shingles 3 years ago. I get so much shit for it lol
Sleepytime is one of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen and Nick was so obviously MISERABLE this entire episode. lol
After aliens in review i say we do vs movies in review
Does Tim have a ponytail?!?
I watched my one year old niece recently. Having the excuse to watch Bluey was a wonderful fringe benefit. The theme song may be the greatest piece of music ever written in terms of its ability to make a toddler dance.
I have no kids and I love Bluey
What podcast is this Kong-Godzilla bit in?? I must have missed it

Predator In Review confirmed? Please?
Bluey in review ? LFG
good shit
hot wheels become love for real cars #racecar
Bluey is the best thing on TV. Not "kids" TV. TV.
This being the title and NOT having input from Gary Whitta? Blasphemy!
Finally the podcast is back on TUESDAY!
I don’t feel so good Bingo
It’s so funny how based off Gregg’s description of how Ben is. Reminds me of how my son Nova is. Both October babies too
Bluey talk in 2024 lmao? This show has been talked about for years, why is this a topic now??
I have autism and I adore Bluey has an animation person
And no joke animation is for all ages not just kids
And I like paw Patorl even the reboot movies
And I’m an artist and in in art school
Also did u guys see the transformers one trailer it looked quite good
Tim is 1,000,000 percent correct about Charlie's Angels being the 21 Jump Street of its time.
What's the Godzilla Colin episode they're talking about?
Greg has mom brain now
I haven't even watched the episode yet but the answer is 100% yes. My wife and I don't even have kids, and we will throw Bluey on all the time. Also Bingo is the real star lol
First i think
First reply 👀
Unpopular opinion- bluey teaches that throwing a tantrum is a reasonable way to get what you want
You know… Bluey can sometimes teach lessons people aren’t expecting to learn. In my experience, Bluey teaches parents how to respond to tantrums and kids playful disobedience without confronting and escalating the situation.
Do you have a specific episode in mind though?
@@Icynova ice cream episode. To each their own. Doing an episode on why you should watch bluey is kinda crazy though. What works for some parents doesn’t work for others
Thumbs up if you agree that this video is amazing!
I just don’t see it with Bluey. My son watches it and it’s just awful to me lol.
It's okay to have bad taste. :] lol
i'm not falling for your propaganda
Thanks for boring everyone to tears with this one Greg. Woof.
