      Definitely. I've said it a few times in comments but that late 04-late 05 team color light bulb look is iconic. Always looked forward to NFL Sunday back then just to see that (and for the other obvious reasons of course lol)

      the generation is different, they don't care as much, they aren't as tough, they aren't as violent its just different. I will admit they are faster and have some better techniques but, as you said, they don't even talk trash anymore or even take rivalries seriously

    Jerome was one of the few running backs you did not want to square up on him and try to take him out. Even Sean was using angles. I'm 50 and I'm glad I got to watch every one of Jerome's games. Dude was like a Coke machine with legs.

    Back when Ben was clean shaven and not homeless. Sean was on his way to becoming one of the top tier safety in the league alongside Ed and Troy. He was the definition of Darren Sharper the Hardest hitting safety in the league. RIP. Crazy to think he pass away during my senior year of HS. So crazy how long it has been. His career would've been a first ballot HOF career.

    No one went to the ground unpunished. My dad would always say "no one gets a free trip to the ground, if they are already falling or being tackled, hit em again, pile them into the ground." Sean Taylor was the embodiment of this belief as a safety.

    Watching Sean Taylor play was a unique experience. Wherever the ball was, you knew he was coming. His closing speed was terrifying. Many plays, he would just appear. He put the fear on the ball carriers. When this man hit you, you knew you had met Sean Taylor. You never wanted to meet him again. His only peer was Ray Lewis; Ray could smash an O Line like no other. Ray was a tank; Sean was a missile.

Everyone knew we were running and he'd head right for you. 30 carries the norm is riding the Bus. Definite hall of fame.     It's a damn shame we will never see what a prime Sean Taylor would've been & we will never see another Jerome Bettis ever again. No football coach would ever allow a heavy player to play rb again
