Sean Taylor should be spoken in the same breath as Lawrence Taylor, Jim brown, Barry Sanders, Jerry rice, Payton. Yes, he was that damn good. A game changer.
Look at all these highlights in a span of a few years! And the you can tell how AMAZED the commentators were lol We ALL were! I have to mention that his younger brother played on my Pop Warner team in Miami. We won nationals that year and he bought our whole team and coaching staff championship rings! Real ones that are worth wayy more than my 2 bowl rings i got playing in college. Not that it matters but it shows you the heart that he had! Thanks Sean from ALL of us. R.I.P.
This guy was on the road to being the greatest safety to ever play the game kind of reminds me of how Bo Jackson was on the road to be the greatest R.B. ever to play the game. Both young mens carreers cut short. It hurts to see this.
It’s crazy how you mentioned both because Sean’s death and Bo’s career-ending injury were the worst experiences I had, as a football fan. I actually saw Bo’s injury, live against the Bengals. Initially, I didn’t think it was that serious. Boy! Was I wrong.
Very reminiscent of his game at Miami against FL State in a damn hurricane. He had 3, I believe, interceptions but could have had about 7 or 8. The GB game stings because 6 weeks later...he was gone 😢
As much as I love the way he played, his play would be greatly diminished today, cuz he got away with A LOT back then when the league was tougher, but he was hitting guys high, out of bounds, after the whistle,it would impact his game quite a bit,cuz we're one step from flag football today!!
Not really. He got flagged for that stuff back the. He knew what he was doing. He was never out of control or a head hunter. Intimidation was a part of his game. He'd be even more intimidating in today's game.
@ezsmith3765 I would have to go back an watch them. Not saying the said aren't valid but them 3 are guys who I actually watch Sunday in and Sunday out. But I did hear the Ronnie lot was one of the hardest hitter in league history
The 🐏 🙌🕊🕊🕊 we have the same name, same birthday..every April fools day I rock my 21😥. Every time I talk football with someone I make sure they know who Sean was, I watched every game since Miami, watched every highlight made and I still get goosebumps watching the passion, determination, and unmatched heart he played every down with...21
Rip man you're my inspiration to play, it sucks to see you go. You had so much potential. I don't care if eric rivera apologized I will forever hold a grudge for killing the most talented player to ever play the fs position

Hear hear! He will make you not want to catch the ball, run the ball, pass the ball or punt the ball.
Man, RIP Sean Taylor you are easily one of the best safety's to ever play the game
I cried at the end of this video
Gods safety

Still Not 1 Safety 6’3 ran a 4.4 At 220lb And Had Hands Of A Wr Hit Like Linebacker. Feet Like Rb Mind Of A QB That’s A Created Player May He Rip 🙏🏾💯
With corner coverage skills and the closing ability like Charles woodson and the hitting power of Ronnie Lott.. = Manimal
@@jasonuptdc4560 lol I had no idea who Ronnie lott were till my highschool coach told me I reminded him of that guy ‘14 I had #42
Mercurial talent, game changer, nothing he couldn't do on the field, sideline to sideline goal post to goal post and could return kicks
He way Ray Lewis and Ed Reed in 1 player.
Best pure football ive ever seen in my life. He couldve been an all pro at like 7 different positions. RIP man.
Best highlight tape on the internet
R.I.P SEAN TAYLOR! IT WASAN HONOR WATCHING YOU PRACTICE AND PLAY FOR THE U
The best football player in history of the game, could have been a HoF at any position. Maybe not QB don't know if he could throw. RIP Sean

Redskins fan and a Miami fan,Manimal Taylor fan. That was the only player I wanted in that draft.. RIP slim
its back...shame they tried to take his highlights off
He truly was Special End of Conversation Case Closed
Still never seen another player like this.
Especially at the safety position.
I remember he almost won that Green Bay game single handily

Dont matter how long he played in the NFL. He was the best 👑 is the best to play safety. The redskins took a Huge!! LOSS when he past away

good pick.
Was this video shot with a potato? The Miami highlights are better quality.
I believe if he didn't pass away, his name would have been mentioned with the likes of Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu
Ronnie Lott
Jack Tatum

Bob sanders we keep leaving him out 😮💨
@@eddiekennedy3652 Bob was a beast. I just knew he wouldn’t last because of his size and play style.
Why’d his Jersey # change from 36 to 21 ??
He wanted 21 but as a rookie Fred Smoot already wore 21, so he used 36 instead. The next year Smoot was gone and Taylor got his preferred number.
12:30 He took on a block with both hands and made LT fumble WITH HIS FOOT!?!?!
