Just a tip- the females give the spawn 80% of the genetics so a "colorless" male would be an opportunity to use a colorful female and create what you want or get what u want in other spawns which is.what alot of breeders do (including me🙂🙂)

Very nice video . Well done . One suggestion. When you transfer bettas in small cups always make sure they are given some plant to help keep water clean . Like a little branch of horn wort or salvania or duck weed or similar . This little gesture goes a long way and keeps the fish healthy and relives a lot of stress . And also provides a good environment for fish to stay. Hope you will do so in future videos

They're still in molting stage, try using Indian Almond Leaves to improve their color. You can also try to make a Cattapa extract, put as many cattapa leaves as you want, in boiling pan with water. Boiling it can help extract the tanins, (the more leaves the stronger the extract). Th extracted tanins can be used on the bettas. (Off course you must cool it off first).

Nice to see the betta fry. 👍🐟
From what I've seen marble bettas with white colouring often end up losing the white colouring when they get older and become a solid colour.
I bought my betta as a blue/white koi, but she marbled into fully dark blue fish.
The same thing happened with my betta before. (he was white/blue with yellow fins) and his body turned fully blue over several months.
I saw a video of someone breeding koi bettas and they said usually the celophane bettas will develop colours slower and will keep the marble patterns for longer and the ones that get a koi pattern first usually become a solid colour

Dry papaya leaves helps aswell. They strengthen and thicken bones and scales and help fin growth and healing. Aswell as helping them color up faster. "Side effect" is it slightly slows down the growth rate.

@@ZedsTechTipsI extract it from the leaves separately so I don't have to, it's easier to clean an empty container with broken down papaya leaves than a grow out tank with fry and broken down papaya leaves😂😂 I do the same with dry Indian almond, Banana and papaya leaves. I get a decent amount, wash it and just leave it outside in a bucket of clean water to extract. I leave it between 2-4 weeks before removing the leaves. After that I just free hand a decent amount into the fry tanks✅🐧 (p.s: Might get a little funky smell from the concentrated extract water)

When they get sold to the pet shops there just gonna be in a cup again for more weeks or until there sold or die and because there being sold in cups people will think it’s ok to put them in a tiny bowl or tub or something without a filter or heater
