I picked up the Polarized - Cobalt - Matte Black a few months ago so I know I'll love the Polarized - American Gray - 23k Gold as well.

@@attilab.2818 I don't think one is better than the other. My opinion is if you are only going to have one pair of RE Aviators it really should be American gray... They are the most natural.

So I ordered a pair of 58mm Gunmetal aviators after watching a few of your videos. I went with polarized lens in AG. I used the measurement guide on their website. They arrived today and they are gorgeous. I have typically worn plastic Oakleys for years thinking the clarity was as good. Not even close as these are in a different class. You can totally feel the quality andI have to admit the lens and materials for sure make them heavier. For the quality, knowing they were made here by an American worker all are huge plus's. Lastly Randolph offers a nice discount for military veterans, first responders etc. So the price point was actually better than a plastic pair of sunglasses. If you are on the fence just jump in and get them. This is my first pair but I can tell already they wont be my last. 23K Gold are in my future for sure.

the special edition looks nice. I will get myself one next year, when I come to the US. I hope I can find an optical shop somewhere in LA and San Francisco. It's a pity they don't sell this sun glasses here in Europe.

Yes I do consider RE all glass lenses just as good as Maui Jim’s

Exactly... some people dig that... if you are only interested in the sunglasses, buy the regular pair... Quality is the same nevertheless
