I lost a friend like this. We all thought the way he would go out, would be drugs. A short time after he got into a construction job, he got sober. It was hard work lol. He loved it, got fit, worked maybe close to 2 years for road paving & all kinds of jobs building roundabouts & things. He was the last man in a trench the workers were about to fill will 2 Tons of soil. Miscommunication happened, someone on the walkie thought the person said the trench was empty & ready. My friend was still down there. He suffocated underneath the 2 Tons of soil. EMT & firefighters trying to dig him out, just to have more soil fall back into his chest. A nightmare. His feet were on the outside the entire time, but the mulch came up to his chest & yes, you’d think “pull him out”…but the weight of the mulch was far too heavy. RIP Zack. Construction workers, miners, and all laborers, stay safe out there ❤

I used to buy a few grams of gold in Kenya and letter on parts of congo. I wasn't licensed so we used to buy from illegal mines like this and sometimes had to go in the hole out of curiosity and that is very dangoures because the mines are poorly constructed and this type of risk is a norm to the miners, that's why they don't look that much stunned by the situation as a regular human being would.
