Really helpful. Managed to confirm my 2009 TSI 2.0 rear main seal had gone by doing this. Measuring block 107 on VCDS and was 25 and went right down beyond 0 and then back up to 25. Has a terrible misfire and previous pcv failure which caused this.

Be side that EVP hehehe awesome tips on how to tell if the rear main seal is leaking or not. I believe i have the same issue because i see oil dripping from that opening and my motor is a FSI. not sure if it as common like the mk6 TSI.

If ya see this, my vw cc has the code, I sprayed and it went down to 22 does that mean my RMS is bad?

is this the same as what they call the rear main seal for the VW?

isnt that just the least resistance to leak there?
