Great video! I would not that the torque on the oil level bolt is very low. I had heard that many had stripped the threads. Now I just measure out the oil and avoid the overflow bolt.
thanks, just changed it and boy did it ever need it don't think the guy knew that those screen filters were there! i need the o rings for the water pump cover mine leaks a bit of oil from there, any tips on where to find parts? thanks!
As far as i'm aware the oil starts draining out at 1.2L the manual was later updated to 1.4L so you will need to poor the remaining .2l after it starts draining out.
Idk why this hasn't been asked. But when u open the oil level cap screw, on the side of the motor, do u fill the bike up with it leaning over on its kick stand, or standing straight up? Like with a magic holder or a second person to hold the bike up for this hour long project.
Not to question or anything, but when you pulled out the 2nd metal filter, didn't you put it back in the opposite way? Does that matter? The manual has it coming out with the indentation part first. Just wanting to make sure as I'm in the midst of doing my first change myself. Thanks.
nice vid... anyone know what the part is up to the right of the 2 small filters? Its behind the gear lever with a husky symbol on it and wires coming off it...
Too late for that guys, but if someone can help me.? :D I secondly changed the oil on my Husqvarna TE 310 2009 4stroke, and i can't take the smaller metal filter for second time i had no problem with the bigger one but i can't take off the smaller one. Any ideas?
15 minutes? More like 30-45 minutes. I can change all 18 quarts in my 7.3l diesel faster than I can change the oil in my TE 510. I wish it only took 15 minutes.
very clear and good to see you use the wife's best bowls as well....
Simon Taylor rider huqvarna zamenjava oil filtra R 316TXs AWD

It has to be complete in one line with the ground, if that makes sense, so straight up.
thanks!!!

The small metal filter/screen was re-installed the right way. Just looked up a parts diagram. It was wrong when he took it out.

I dont know why, but I cant take off the sump plug... I rotate it, but it doesnt come out. May it be that the screw is broken?

Does your TE 510 ever over heat? Mine just started and The pipe gets redhot after about a minute.
