  • Complete step by step video on checking and adjusting valves on a 2006 TE250 --- The video is incorrect, the feeler gauge should be used between the shim and the rocker and NOT between the cam and rocker. I apologize for that mistake. Otherwise the video should be of some use to people (I hope).

    Thank-you so much for this video coffee, I finally had to change a valve shim on my 2007 te450 and this video was INVALUABLE. The greased feeler gauge to replace a shim saved me a lot of frustration, that's a great method. Same with the magnet to remove it. Thanks again mate, long live Husky!!

    arent you supposed to use the feeler blades between te shim and the rocker? or dosen't it matter?

      Yes you are right, I thought the same, the mistake has been acknowledged in the description.

    is that large disc on the end of the intake cam supposed to be free spinning? mine is on my 05 te250

      123devinzz1 can you tell me how the adjustments work? When he tales out the shim, What Does he do with it? Just put grease on it and put it back?
