Bro, I’m already in a program that pays for all my certification. I have my A+ which is irrelevant, my comptia security+ and I’m at the tail end of getting my comptia cysa+. I’m honestly not looking to get into another program plus I’m currently enrolled in college majoring in information technology.
@@davidminor792 this comment isn’t for you
I am struggling to learn about cybersecurity and here you are earning like $200-500k per year and knowing so much. Mind you I live in Australia so I don't know if what you discuss I can relate.
Don't believe everything you hear, run your own race.
What do we do, if we are 2 certs in, have some book knowledge about the security field, and want to learn the skills to land us our dream jobs? My experience have been tough. All I hear back from these jobs is that you have a help desk background we are looking for somebody that’s more experienced. How would I be able to gain experience if I don’t get a chance to get that experience?
Network and do projects that resemble real world scenarios
What kind of project do you recommend? I don’t even know where to start far as the projects and would I be able to do the projects on my lab top ?
@@davidminor792 at this point
You should book a consultation. I won’t be able to spoon feed you information all day
