Ronda’s problem was she tried to be a heel and was really disrespectful. Then lost, then people really gave it to her. So it backfired on her. Now it’s poor me, instead of just speaking the truth.

I never really thought about the pressure Ronda was under. I guess it’s something we don’t actually think about when “stars” of the sport are promoted so heavily and have to keep it up. Very interesting interview.

I think Ronda was too cocky and even took the fight on short notice and came in looking a little off before Holly Holmes sent her to sleep with a brutal head-kick. When someone so dominant in finishing fights with judo gets head kicked out !! Replayed over and over on the internet of Ronda face and just dying on the canvas. It’s traumatising, instead of returning asap and having her rematch and face her demons, she ran and cried on Ellen Dgenerated show, she decided to let Holly holmes fight with miesha tate who becomes a champion because Tate took Holly down and submitted her which you couldn’t because your manager Edmund was teaching you striking and you thought you could finish Holly with your amateur striking, then meisha loses to Amanda Nunes and you came back to got a beating from Amanda, which I think was worst than Hollys head-kick loss.
