Julian (J3PO) Pollack demonstrates the new Patch Morphing feature on the Pro 3! Free download for all users, available on the Sequential forum: forum.sequential.com/index.php
I have a feeling that this synth will be one of the machines in history where many realize long time after how unique and pioneer this is to be a mono / paraphonic synth. Totaly love it!
This is an awesome feature that I loved from the Sunrizer virtual synth. Now that it’s in the Pro 3, I consider this a must-have piece of hardware kit.
My favorite function from the AN1x, makes awesome happy accidents haha. Can you save the current between-patch settings to a new patch like the Yamaha?
Woah, woaaaah. Mine's coming tomorrow, sold all my euro to afford it- and more stoked than I was before. The thing I lust after most about the Polybrute came to the pro 3 and I never knew!!
i got a rev 2. love it. when i got this and plugged it in the first thing i noticed was how much low end it had. compared to any other DSI stuff i got, it was like "whoa...." you don't hear that from youtube videos. it's a monster. even more now after this update.
Yeah, I have both and although I prefer the double filter system and double mod touch pads on the P2, the sound of the 3 is just a lot better. It's 3 osc instead of 4 but still sounds bigger. I like the Pro 3 so much I just sold my standard edition just to upgrade to the SE. It just looks so much prettier.
What happens if you have two patches with complete different FX? Are the effects spared out from the morphing? I think so. Because how would you morph from a reverb to a delay?
Patch morphing was added in an OS update after the initial release of the Pro 3. You can find more information on it by reading Manual Addendum 1.2 in the Support section of our website. You can also download the latest OS that adds the patch morphing feature: www.sequential.com/support/
@@carsonday8190 i seen that this morning! i'm updated and currently loading up the wavetables and new bank of programs carson, you a kool dude. you helped me back in the day with replacing a board in my tempest. ya'll have to make like a 5 voice expander unit for this pro 3!

Wow, Julian you never cease to amaze with your skills, and then layer this new feature in!

Another fantastic Pro 3 demo video.

It's cool....if you sequence the Pro3 from an external sequencer...you use this feature like a mini OT crossfader.....cool
So cool!
Thanks!
Thanks Arturia!
Arturia Polybrute is next level on morphing. I adore mine.
@SPL ...Intellijel's Shapeshifter has had morphing long before Arturia. It's not like they invented the concept 🙃😉
The difference is: Polybrute has most parameters gradual - even sync or filter routing. So there is a lot more to morph than with Pro-3
@@michaelous The difference is: $1100
@@jbuck802 Yes. And 5 voices ;-)
this is gold!!!
sold!
I've been enjoying my Rev 2 but I've had my eye on this too. With this series of videos, I'm totally sold on the Pro 3. Purchase imminent!

Can you crossfade two patches across the keyboard?
★★★★★ Very, very cool. Waiting for it to come to my Pro-2 now. 😜
Same!
Nice
What about the spaces in-between?🙄😶😎
Great
thanks for this video. I realize now the potential of this function that I didn't find on the user guide. Does it miss there?

@@SequentialLLC thank you, Julian! I subscribed your channel and will watch all your videos to make sure I won’t miss anything. Great job you did !
So cool. Why stop at 2? Would be awesome to use an envelope or lfo to morph thru many presets. Like a VS but presets instead of waves.
My god! I think I just got pregnant!
that was morphing me too!
Ayy I have that shirt too, kohls classic
But for real, we need your pro3 sound pack
is this a recent update? i've never even seen this
It’s still in Beta with bugs being reported , you can find it on the sequential forum
only bug i'm seeing is the bank knob getting to U1 from U2.
@@crime_wavcorp yeah that’s the one I saw, enough for me to hold out until the official release
@@mortovivo1534 Already fixed! 1.2.0.2 has been posted to the forum.
