Girl, I love your personality and enthusiasm for what you do. You make sewing and creating so enjoyable. I held my breath when you cut into that London Fog; it was an amazing coat. I should know by now to trust your judgment on recycles, lol. I love the look, but again you are way braver than me with these things. I'm basic. Sticking to designing and draping my own patterns, sewing from vintage (and contemporary) ones and purchasing vintage garments. Occasionally, I will go off the grid, but not like this. Angelina, you cracked me up with the slo mo, with you sliding your hand against the point of the pin. And that made it an official big OUCH. Sorry but I did watch it several times, I really needed that laugh. So life give you lemons, squeeze everything out of them. lol Either I was having hot flashes or panic attach watching you cut that cut London Fog trench. But the end result of the crop/puffy sleeve trench was soooo worth it. If I could even start this I would want to leave my back long to give it more weight, it probably would look better that way on me since I am heavy chested and that crop wide look could make me look pregnant. Think the decision to make it no tail was the right one as it looks fabulous! The puffy sleeve re-do really makes the look though; instead of looking like standard trench coat you have elevated it to couture looking coat. Putting trench coats on my thrift store shopping list to try this some time. Thanks for sharing this with us!

I have this beautiful coat but it was too short for me so I decided one day instead of leaving it in the darn closet I was going to take it out and crop it instead. The coat was somewhere slightly below my hips so you get what I mean. Looking forward to do this!

Wow, I can't believe it. It's so gorgeous and you style it in such a girl boss chick way. I am so happy that I found your channel. Inspired by your videos I made something (just a small up-cycle to a jacket I had) myself and I can't be prouder of myself! :D I don't have a sewing machine so cannot do big projects, but until I have one I'll continue learning from you! I love that you have the skills but also such a nice vision, imagination and a feel for design.
