literally my favorite content creator. body-inclusive and transparent with mistakes. "be afraid and do it anyway". it's rare to find people that admit their fears and mistakes so others can be brave, learn, and persevere regardless. you deserve all the subscribers!
Awww! I appreciate you so much. Thanks! 🤗
Yessssss! All the feels! Even my hubby watched this and said “she’s good, that looks really great”. I have no butt, and barely any hips, but I would totally rock it with the hip inserts!
That's so cool! I think it makes me look like I have hips and I certainly don't. 😆
I followed along not really seeing or visualizing the end result......usually I do........
This one at marker 12: 00
My mouth fell open.......this one just took restyling to another level.........
Ummmmmm.........taking my hubby’s jackets out of the “ going to goodwill “ bag.......and they are going into my “ Blue print “ project bin.
This right here..........your mind is creating the garments at a blessed rate..........
Soooooooooooo:
I’ll be first in line to get an autographed copy of your ( yet to be created 😊🤔😊) book.
You are progressing in leaps and bounds.......God has a plan for you and in your journey we are so blessed to be traveling with you🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
He’s not finished with you yet........looking so so forward to all your upcoming projects.

I love your comments! Thank you!! 😊💕
AMAZING!!!!!!!!! AND I THINK THE MISTAKE GIVES IT MORE EDGY! I LOVE IT!
Black mock neck shirt and the coat is fire. I get more and more excited and motivated to try something new with each flip you do.
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁
I am a rectangle. I would make an all-around peplum to give me the illusion of curves. I can see this alteration evolving in many ways, like outside pouch pockets on the sides instead of the pleated peplum. Very inspiring upcycle!
Yesss!
I love the two plaid prints together 😍
L😍VE this!! Especially the way you styled it with the socks and the boots!!!
Thank you!! 💕
This layering with the matching parts, just like that cropped yellow plaid shirt and jean jacket combo you did, I fucking love that effect. I can't get enough of it
Thank you!! ☺️❣️
Oh my gosh! So so so much to say! First of all, thank you for your amazing videos. I love your on screen charisma and enthusiasm! Also this book is amazing one of my favorite DIY reinvention fashion videos ever. Well done! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤩🤩🤩🤩
I love this. But unfortunately I need it all the way around. Headed to the thrift store soon.
Over the top CRAZY GOOD. You outdid yourself again!
Thank you!! 😊
I have "all of the junk in the trunk".
(Lol. I loved that. It made me laugh out loud.)
So I definately would look better in the side-notched jacket. It's also really cute. And the jacket and skirt completely go well together.
Thanks!
Yup, gotta appreciate those curves! People are paying a lot of money to be like you. ☺️
I think the one all the way around would be my choice even though I'm a no booty club member and trying to hem the blazer to elongate my short legs
Aaaahh-maaazing, as usual!!🙌🏽💜🙌🏽
Thanks so much!! 😁
Great job but them BOOTS!! Are EVERYTHING‼‼‼
Thanks Didi! Last minute trip to the mall which I never do anymore. 😆
You have exactly my figure..even same thin legs, so I think I’ll make this as well thanks for another great idea ! 💐💗
This is a very unique piece of clothing. A show stopper. Job well done.
Thank you!! 😊💕
I think the one with the skirt all the way around would suit me best as I am a full figured woman.
Awesome!! Love the colors and patterns.
You are amazing! I think both versions are a win-win. I'd were the one with only the sides added. It didn't take a lot of deconstructing or sewing to achieve this "upgraded" look.
Thanks! 💕 Yes, this was really pretty simple.
wow love this DIY Jacket it turn out beautiful great job's Angelina like always you got it .thanks
Love the ideas. Clothes to fit well over hips/tush combo are hard to find but upcycling this way will be perfect. Can control the Volume to avoid looking even bigger.
Exactly! 👍🏽
I love, love , love it...yes gurlll you did that🥰❤️
Wow! Leveling up! Thanks for another inspiring video!
It has Monse vibes too! Love it!
I love this so much!!! It looks so good on you. I need it all the way around to accommodate my hips and butt.
Love the side panels 👍🏾🥰
Yup. When I looked at the thumbnail. I thought, "Angelina done made herself a kilt blazer. How'd she do that?" 😁 But I thought it was asymmetrical. Keep on sis. Keep on.
You always get me thinking and I know you hate button holes, but could the fabric be attached by buttons, so you could swap out different fabrics for a variety of looks?
Because it's pleated there would need to be a lot of buttons, but I love how you think!
It looks so good when you layer it on the skirt!
Thanks Arsenio!
Your brain just amazes me. You are so talented and creative!!!
Thank you!! 😊💕
One of the best.
I’ve got broad shoulders and wide hips so I will definitely be trying this
This is so ingenious. I love how it turned out!!
Thank you!! 😊💕
I love this upcycled blazer, hawt!
I would need all the way around 😩 🤣 This is an AMAZING transformation!!
There's no shame in the curves. ☺️ People are paying good money for those curves! 😆
Love love love!!!
now that's cute! I really love this one, TFS
Thank you!! 😊
That's really different. I like it.
Oh my goodness!!! I'm in love!! I have hips and butt so I would do the second option. I don't do blazers but I can see doing this with a men's denim jacket. You're awesome!!!
Good idea! 👍🏽
Gorgeous! Loving the plaid colours too ! 😍💖
Wow wow wow I love it!!! That is so cute 😍
I'd definitely do the version you did. 😊 Your awesome Angelina 💛🌞🌻❤

😆 You're so nice! But of course I found it shortly after doing the video. 🤦🏽♀️
That is so cute!

this is unique i love it
Thanks! ☺️
This is beautiful 😍
When I was a kid, there were certain things we didn't get from the thrift store, that have carried into my adult life. Shoes are one if those things. I will except them from people I know, but I can't bring myself to buy them from the thrift store.
I completely understand that!
You are so Amazing #talented💫👌🏼# down to earth✨🙏
Oh this looks amazing!!! I have to say ppl use fast fashion as en excuse to not care about their clothes, I have clothing and leather shoes by Zara that are probably 5 plus years and still look great. Expensive or not I like to take care of things so if I donate they can be used!
I ✨LOVE ✨THIS!!🗣
Adorable, i wish i could sew like you
What! I didn't know you made a skirt out of the extra trench fabric!!!! How did i miss THAT!
It was already a skirt. I just finished it after cutting off the extra. 😆 No magic.
@@BlueprintDIY wait, I'm talking about the crop coat you had on was from a trench I swear it! 😭😭😭
Love the clashing patterns, love the styling with the now shorter skirt! + this is my genre of feminine! I muuust try this
Super cute!
😍❤gorgeous
Love it so cute👍👍👍
Once again you have made something fabulous! Thanks for all of the content every week!
Thank you!! 😊
Yasssssss !!!!👏🏽
So so cute.. I really love that skirt.. I can't wait until my sewing machine comes.. I can only try and hope for the best.. I loved this whole outfit!!
I know you can do it! 👍🏽😊
Love your inspirations ! How do you make the broad men's shoulders smaller to set in/make the sleeves fit better for women ?
Yo that’s dope!!!😍
Thank you!! 😊
love this!!! the color, the style, everything!!! i want some of your creativity!! :)
Sooooo cute
Thank you!! 😊
Love that,
Thank you!! 😊

I'm going to try this ~
Yayyy!
I loveeeeeeee it
Thank you!! 😊
oof that's amazing! would 100% wear this! i'm a bit scared to upcycle any of my blazers at the moment because i don't feel i have the skill level, but i would definitely try it out in the future!
Simply beautiful, I'd need it all around but I love it, thank you.
Love it
I love this DIY, as I always do! Great job!!
Thank you!! 😊
I so love this and i would do the alway around version because I'm a full figure woman with both h&b!!!!!
Super cute😁
Love love love this!!! This definitely inspired me for a few projects! 💙🌻
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁
Amazing
I would go for the side pleats (since I'm petite). love the look on you, great style as usual!
Thank you!! 😊
Omg i love all your videos !! This one really inspired me like how freaken innovative 😵 thank you for the quality content
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁
Love this upcycle so much! Question for you, how would I make this without a serger? I use French hems on some of my upcycles, but this project seems like there would be too many layers for that. I have a gorgeous red wool pleated skirt that would be great for this project. Anyone have tips on finishing hems without sergers?
Hi 👋🏾 I have a video on 5 ways to finish seams without a serger here
czcams.com/video/5ZJjRBzYH_U/video.html and I think the pinking shears may be a good option for this.
@@BlueprintDIY Thank you so much! I want to get into trying some of your upcycles. will tag you in anything I end up making and posting! 😊
You are amazing woman💗by from Croatia🇭🇷
Wow, Croatia! Thank you!! 😊💕
🔥 🔥 🔥
I'll be making mine with plaid around the back and sides. I've got hips from the front, but a flat butt in back. I'm hoping rear ruffle will give me an illusion of some booty back there. Great ideas as usual.
So (bleeping) cute but I could never pull this off!!! I have that kind of butt that "hikes up in the back and makes the front hang long" ...lol! But this did give me the idea to crop a blazer and use the pleated fabric to make the peplum !!
I have that kinda butt too! It's actually one of the reasons I started sewing. I'm plus size and I was so tired of clothes fitting me weirdly, especially that butt hike in the back! Lol
I understand because I kept tugging the skirt a bit in the back as well. 😆
Probably peplum in the backside area. Not that I am bootylicous but the flaps on men blazer can sometime pucker out there if it more fitted and that is not a look. Hey DSW is my shoe retail spot but I do thrift shoes also. Since the virus, I have not been going as much to DSW. I think I officially have too many shoes and it hard to find anything retail , I can afford, that stand out for me. The appreciation of this upscale was acknowledge once you did the total styling. Flannels and blazer are in danger around you , because you giving them a total transformation. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Yes, flannels are in danger! 😆
I would go all around to cover the butt. Might add fabric elbow patches or maybe make jacket short sleeves or make funky button mixture?
U r a true creator. I am going to goodwill tmo when they open. I 'need' 5-6 mens shirts & a blazer & a trench coat. Will get enough 'project items' to keep me busy during what I anticipate will be a long winter...
Amazing 👌
Thank you!! 😊
Random question! Do you sew at the recycled catalog cabinet or do you have a separate craft table? I really like the card catalog cabinet and might consider looking for one for my craft room if it's comfortable to sew at.
No, I don't see there. I just use it for storage. There would be no place for my knees. I got two tables from the "as is" department at IKEA for my sewing table.
