    Yessssss! All the feels! Even my hubby watched this and said “she’s good, that looks really great”. I have no butt, and barely any hips, but I would totally rock it with the hip inserts!

    I followed along not really seeing or visualizing the end result......usually I do........
    This one at marker 12: 00
    My mouth fell open.......this one just took restyling to another level.........
    Ummmmmm.........taking my hubby’s jackets out of the “ going to goodwill “ bag.......and they are going into my “ Blue print “ project bin.
    This right here..........your mind is creating the garments at a blessed rate..........

    I am a rectangle. I would make an all-around peplum to give me the illusion of curves. I can see this alteration evolving in many ways, like outside pouch pockets on the sides instead of the pleated peplum. Very inspiring upcycle!

    So (bleeping) cute but I could never pull this off!!! I have that kind of butt that "hikes up in the back and makes the front hang long" ...lol! But this did give me the idea to crop a blazer and use the pleated fabric to make the peplum !!

    Probably peplum in the backside area. Not that I am bootylicous but the flaps on men blazer can sometime pucker out there if it more fitted and that is not a look. Hey DSW is my shoe retail spot but I do thrift shoes also. Since the virus, I have not been going as much to DSW. I think I officially have too many shoes and it hard to find anything retail , I can afford, that stand out for me. The appreciation of this upscale was acknowledge once you did the total styling. Flannels and blazer are in danger around you , because you giving them a total transformation. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

    Random question! Do you sew at the recycled catalog cabinet or do you have a separate craft table? I really like the card catalog cabinet and might consider looking for one for my craft room if it's comfortable to sew at.

    • @BlueprintDIY
      @BlueprintDIY  Před 3 lety

      No, I don't see there. I just use it for storage. There would be no place for my knees. I got two tables from the "as is" department at IKEA for my sewing table.
