Geetsly's thanks for making this like I really want to know how Tambor got out of this I hope they explain soon

Thatâs absolutely a perfect statement.
Yes!!!
I love the fact that we live in an age where people can speak out against literally anyone and, not only not be silenced, but can actually continue to make a living when doing so!
That made me laugh so hard.
That's not fair;
The Star Wars Mega-Corps are less ruthless and corrupt than Disney.
A better comparison is Disney to the Skaven.

2:11 that dig at Disney must burn hotter than Mustafar
Anakin: I got my arms and legs chopped off, then was lit on fire by molten lava.
Disney: You bastard! You lucky lucky bastard!
Omg, in the latest episode, Anakin takes Rex's helmet and talks to Padme.
Then Obi-Wan says "Did you at least tell Padme I said Hello?"
That brought a huge smile on my face and brought warmth to my heart.
Danese ikr!? When that happened I literally said out-loud to myself âOH MY GOD, HE KNEW! HE FUCKING KNEW!â
Yeah, that was way better then the original idea from the unfinished version of the episode years ago, where the Bad Batch have an image of Padme on their ship and when Anakin asked about it they basically tell him how they think she's hot, and Rex tries to calm Anakin down when he said: "That is not staying."

Guys guys guys. Pious Dea was one of the worst things that happened in Republic history. Even the bringing-Sith-to-extinction Jedi eventually said âenough is enoughâ and launched the one and only successful Jedi coup to overthrow the Supreme Chancellor.
Wat Tambor: We are neutral you wouldnât dare.
Rex: I donât remember asking you a goddamn thing.
I'm willing to wager that Wat Tambor's presence on Ryloth would've been justified by the Techno-Union as some kind of official business as a liaison between the TU and the Separatist Forces there. While UNOFFICIALLY being the De-Facto commander of the operations. It would also serve to explain how he might've gotten out of Republic custody. So long as he can claim that he wasn't actually commanding the forces but just as an observer along for the ride, the lack of absolute evidence and the corruption within the republic probably would've allowed him to get off scott-free
âWeâre neutral nowâ
Uhhhhh,wat.....tambor?
Iâll show myself out.
I am so happy that season 7 is here, I've been watching the clone wars ever since it came out, this show inspired me to write my own clone wars fanfic and helped me through some rough stuff. I'm not gonna lie, when I watched the clone wars saved trailer when it was announced, I cried, I'm 20yrs old and this show still means more to me than almost anything else.
Same. Im 21 every Friday my friends and I get together to watch this.
Im 20 and this is the thing that gets me through the week. I just cant believe I'm still getting to see new episodes at this time of my life
This show was a huge part of my Childhood and everytime I come back it amazes me how well it holds up. I keep expecting to be annoyed with it but everytime theres a new reason I fall in love with it again. I'm dumbfounded, and still in slight denial- that we're getting new episodes that are up to par with old episodes.
Wat Tambor: I'm Neuteral
Also Wat Tambor: How about I kidnap a Republic soldier, hook him up to a machine, and force him to give the Separatists the Republic battle strategies so he can claim Anaxis? That's perfectly fine.
Wat: "but sir we're neutral" Rex: "Not to me"
*lets the separatist use their planet as a staging ground*
âWeâRe NEUtRaL!â
To be fair, most nations could claim neutrality if a vastly superior army decided to enter their territory and use it to stage attacks against other nations. Like would anyone hold it against Lichtenstein if America decided to base there whilst attacking any neighboring nation.
Thedoctor133 I can see where youâre coming from but I mean their members are working with the CIS and attending war meetings as if they were a member state. It doesnât make much sense, from a Star Wars standpoint, that theyâd be calling themselves neutral if theyâre clearly involved in the war, just in a support role. I can see every way their neutrality being bs connects to the SGP of painting the Jedi as warmongers, but, like, they donât make it a plot point; itâs just presented that way and itâs stupid.
@@Otterdisappointment I totally agree that the members of the council are differently not neutral parties.

The Techno Union's "neutrality" makes as much sense as the Trade Federation's
It makes less sense actually, the Trade Federation was able to claim that Gunray and his people were Renegades, Tambor stayed in charge of the techno union despite being recorded committing war crimes on Ryloth.

>Ends the most lucrative chance at war profiteering
Saying that arms manufacturers are "war profiteers" is like saying that farmers are "hunger profiteers".
Very good and accurate as usual
"Bruh we're neutral" I think I missed that scene
Itâs very confusing when Wat Tambor led a CIS invasion on Ryloth, he was captured by the republic and spent the majority of the war in prison (Techno Union seemed to be running fine without him), yet when heâs out he is the leader of the Techno Union again and now claims neutrality despite being portrayed as a hardcore separatist in S1 âwe will all perish for the glory of the Separatist allianceâ This corporation âneutralityâ stuff is frustrating as it contradicts what was set up in S1.
Tambor is a politician so he is clearly a hypocrite.
Dude, that was him being a smart arse, not him being a Separatist, he knew exactly what would happen, this was pre-planned. The whole point was to make the CIS look like terrorists, the Techno Union would get out of it because they were war profiteers, attacking them means the Republic would lose.
@@tk-6967 Being put in prison for a long stay didn't make him look like a smart arse.
@@MrDarthCIS It wasn't that long if you exclude the extensive parole time to explain all of his contradicting appearances, because Dave Filoni is shit with lore after all.
@@tk-6967 It just annoyed me with that cameo he made still in prison during season 5, pretty much implied he spent most of the war in prison, but if we ignore that cameo there isn't really an issue.

"like with Disney" Very noice man
Itâs sad the Separatists were actually the good guys werenât it for the Sith and companies.
I've heard this a few times. explanation for it?
It's a bit of a mismatch, the GAR military was more morally good (besides using clones as slaves) but they didn't do any directly evil acts
However, the Republic senate was so morally bankrupt and corrupt up the ass, they left anyone that wouldn't profit them to suffer, entire star systems in the republic where neglected and ignored, allowed to rot and suffer because the rest of the senate drowned out the good voices and didn't care for those that couldn't make them money.
The CIS Senate however, was full of those the republic had neglected, they where not corrupt (or at least, nowhere near that with the exception of Dooku depending on how you look at it)
The CIS actually cared, every system was equal and worthy of a voice in their own way. General Grievous was a Kaleesh warrior before the clone wars, the Republic backed up the enemy of the Kaleesh, the Huk, who invaded Kalee with the intention of killing and enslaving the Kaleesh people.
The Republic ignored the plight of the Kaleesh, the Kaleesh beat the Huk off of their planet, but the Huk had ties in the Republic, and got them to send Jedi Knights and police forces to help the Huk without asking for Kalee's side of the story
This is just one example.
@The Trolling master That's the CIS military, which basically did whatever they wanted and hid evidence of wrongdoing from the federal government
Im a huge pro CIS fan.
Its funny, what we see from the CIS and republic are reversed.
The republic govt. Is corrupt and rotten to its literal core. But their military is good and moral.
While the CIS govt. Is good and moral, while its army is corrupt and evil to its literal core lol.
As for how the republic handled its worlds, im gonna have to say that they likely couldnt possibly do much better. When you consider the sheer size and scale of the republic, its insane how they managed to hold together like they did. The absolute millions of planets within them, means its hard as hell to govern them all.
Planets that stand out would absolutely get more help than others. And im willing to bet there are planets within the republic that almost nobody *in* the republic actually knows about. Its perfectly understandable that those things happened.
Take your car for example. Now imagine filling the entire thing full of pennies. Now imagine that every openly visible penny is removed. All you have left are the ones under seats and in the cracks. Thats kinda how i view the planets the republic forgot about.
They simply couldnt take care of them all. It wasnt possible with their style of governance and idealogy.
The Empire may have been different. But they were also, the empire. Which entails a much different approach to governance.
The CIS would likely have prospered amazingly so long as their member planets didnt grow too numerous. Some government types works really, really well. But only when you have a specific number of members.
Socialism might work when you have a few million.
Communism can totally work when you have less than 50.
And a dictatorship can be effective based only on how much the despot can handle at any given time.
Republics work well when dealing with tons of people.
Direct democracies can be effective for city states, but are easy toppled by populism and Demagoguery.
Corporatocracies can be efficient, but you probably wouldn't want to live in them.
And i dont exactly know how to stop listing these in an effective manner so imma drop it here xD
Z3R0 yet even the CIS government commits the same mistake in being blind to their militaryâs corruption and evil. How is that different from the Republic being blind with all the corruption?
Tambor looks so much better in this episode than back in season 1
