You know despite the hate the 2016 and 2017 anime got I still enjoyed watching it because it's berserk. However some scenes were kind of underwhelming but the scene of guts vs zodd was disappointing
It's looks better because in the anime they gave the job to adapt it to a guy who doens't know how to do CGI animation also the budget was incredibly short
God, I love Guts' screams in this game so much! It's like you can really feel the rage and the agony mixed in together. Dammit! Why couldn't they hire this VA to do his role in the new Berserk anime? Granted, its production was sadly disastrous, but still...

When I got to this scene in the Anime I was soooooooooo conflicted... On one hand were gonna get a badass action scene between Guts and Griffith (Femto) or so I thought than we got a badass scene regardless with Zodd but what bothered the fuck out of me is the scenery. The sword in the ground standing as a reminder of what happened on the fateful day all the men and women we lost. Seeing Griffith there enraged me (which is should that's well done story telling) and I'm like please Miura please for the love of god let me see Guts take down Griffith a peg or two but nope... Sadly we wouldn't see Griffith get bitch slapped until way later with Rickhert. LOL

Why not anyone giving credit to Zodd being this good in combat ? Perhaps the best representation of Zodd's combat skills in all Berserk games.
