@ChrisThedudenurse I was trying to see your buttons. If you have a button for spin speed try selecting the speed and then hitting start. It works on my machine but it isn't the exact same as yours.
For those that have their installed upstairs in their houses like mine instead of downstairs, you will have to go up there and unlock the lid and rearrange your clothes and try again.
I am having the same issue. Found out today that the problem is with the damping grease on the struts. My next step is to re-apply. BTW I put in new aftermarket struts before I knew it also needed damping grease. OEM struts most probably come with damping grease. It's actually a simple technical solution. Let's see once I apply!
The real problem is this terrible design. I’ve been washing clothes for years with much older washers and never had any issues like this. I have had rods break once on a very old machine, but nothing like this.
Any updates mines doing the exact same thing I noticed there’s a little rubber grommet that had shifted all the way to the middle of the tensioning ring but where do you apply the grease on the spring on the bottom of the bowl or on the actual rod where it connects to the bowl
Samsung washer normally don't do that because before start the spin cycle it starts spinning slow to check if the clothes are propely load in the drum. Also before the wash cycle starts you need to load the washer properly, the clothes go aroung the impeller. Hope it helps. ;)
My Samsung front loader has one glitch. On the quick cycle only it can not find its balance for spin. If I use the normal cycle on light soil it works fine even though it's an identical cycle
I'd have to say that is a balance sensor issue because the load was fairly balanced and it triggered the UR code so I would have to say that it's a balance sensor issue( P.S these washers are junk they have suspension springs that wear or go bad quite fast, which is cheap for them to use, and such as your issue which is most likely a Balance sensor, all the components are just cheap P.O.S, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!)
My LG did the same thing and it was driving me up the wall it filled up about four times and I got really frustrated. What I realized later the issue was the blanket I was trying to wash I had to find the proper way of laying it out so that it wasn't heavy on one side no matter what the washer did the blanket was entirely too heavy and would not unbalance. I had to go on CZcams and find out how to properly put blankets and sheets in the washer top-load so that I would not have this problem again and I didn't
Mine does this and if the clothes ball up or the blanket balls up it goes wacky. Stackable washer dryer I think GE . I don't like the washer because of this reason.
I'd have gotten a Kenmore Ultra Fabric Care 80 Series Heavy Duty instead (now available under $400 if you know where to look), or perhaps a Speed Queen TC3/5/7 or something equivalent. Either one of those would last you far longer than this junker.
Maybe learn to load your machine.... Edit: Sorry, I guess I shouldn't be a jerk. The main thing is that that machine looks overloaded. Also, the load can look even, but all of your stuff that can hold more water ends up on one side, swells and is heavier.
This would be so annoying. I'm glad my washer is old. Get ready for an avalanche of comments about how this is user error and not a design and engineering problem. (If it's designed for use by humans and humans think it sucks to use, then it's designed poorly.)
I guess it's probably trying to rebalance the clothes by floating them with the water. Not the best implementation, I'd rather it just shut off and send an alert to my phone, but it's pretty cool that they at least try to detect unbalance
It's cool that they're detecting it, sure, but filling the washing machine with water when it's on the one mode that's not supposed to do that, that's just not cool.
I have never understood why most washing machines in America top loading with thank (don’t actually know how does that called) turned up?🤔 In other countries you won’t even be able to find this kind of washing machine, even top loading machines are actually with a tank turned side
I'm having the exact same issue with the exact same piece of shit washer. It's never had this issue until now. Worthless junk, they don't make them like they used to!
Smart washers are stupid. We have one that barely puts any water. End of cycle still has dry spots on the clothes. I’d rather have an old fashioned washer!! I can’t even run SOAK in the washing machine bc no water!!! If I could just run a wash cycle and pause it for 15 minutes that’d be great.. but it stops and starts over and the clothes aren’t even wet on the top. Yea I selected Deep Fill. Reminds me of the shower heads that have water saving ..blasting you with air & a tiny bit of water - and I turn it off while I soap up & shampoo to save water so I don’t need the blasting. Never again.. I’ll find a local appliance repair shop and buy from them for an old one.
I know a ton of people with Samsung washers. This is weird. You should cash in the warranty if it's still young. If not, consider hiring a repair guy. That looks broken.
Don’t you worry there’s a fix…….. BUT it’s only good for about 6 months. How fix an unbalanced load on Samsung active jet washing machine czcams.com/video/ECr6AptnEnM/video.html
@@ChrisThedudenurse I try to do it before the wash in hopes of it keeping the balance but my washer either just screams or reduces the spin speed. I find putting all the heavy clothes in first at the bottom helps.
On other washing machine ( that I know ) they will go for some round of counter clockwise then clockwise and then they only really spinning after everything in balance or if thing not ( which is unlikely ) and the machine get really shaking , they will just break, maybe try again, if still cant get it to work, stop and display error code So yeah, other than phone and fridge, I dont thing samsung stuff are that good, or they did and break after few year haha
Never buy samsung appliances. They fail within months of the warranty ending, usually the motherboard which costs 50 bucks less then a whole new one. It happened to me and like a dozen people i know.

I have a headache from the radiation hitting my face
You probably just threw those cloths in their like a piece of trash. Of course it's gonna try to rearrange the cloths. Cause at the same time your not arranging them. So I would just arrange them it's not that hard.
there's no agitator in the machine, it won't matter how the clothes get in there the machine is going to mix them up on it's on during the wash cycles.
Make SURE ITEMS ARE THE SAME IN WEIGHT. IT'S Best to do ... T shirts with T shirts. Towels equal weight with towels. Sheets with sheets. Rearrange them to the back wall yourself ... Then start . Try this. ✋✌️🇺🇸
I’ve never had that kind of issue, but I’ve only ever used washers from the Mesozoic period that are just tanks and don’t have any ‘smart’ features.
I wish I still had one with an agitator.
Same, I get the “dumbest” appliances possible. I’ve bought most of my washer/dryers used, give me an 8088 Kenmore any day.
@ChrisThedudenurse I was trying to see your buttons. If you have a button for spin speed try selecting the speed and then hitting start. It works on my machine but it isn't the exact same as yours.
I hate that machine too, so frustrating.
The old top loaders are superior.
The old Kenmore here has been going strong for 30 years. Lol
Completely agree. I only bought this set because my previous dryer finally quit. Wish I’d just replaced it not the set.
Our front loader samsung works great.
Might be easier on the washer to be front end.

@@thailuong6071 and try again, and again, and again.
There might be water stuck in the top ring from hard water deposits and may need to drill holes in the top ring to let the water drain
Not a bad idea, but I changed the rods and that fixed my issue.

I’m going to upgrade the springs, which I shouldn’t have to do. But just look at other videos on this washer it’s not a good one.
Use a front loader way less water usage to start with
I would if I could. You can’t tell but I don’t have the room for a front loader.
