Born in 1969, 林海/Lin Hai learned to play the piano at age four. 1988 he majored in piano at the China Central Music College and the next year he became the only and unprecedented Chinese nominee for the 8th Van Cliburn Musical Contest held in the U.S. In 1992 he began giving concerts in Taiwan and China and composed movie scores and TV drama scores. Now one of the most promising and successful Chinese pianists, he focuses on composing jazz and eastern new age music. As critics term it, Lin Hai is a genius who has "an easternized right hand and a westernized left hand" and he plays improvisational jazz out of a disciplined classical background. 陈悦，出生于浙江省杭州市，毕业于中国音乐学院，中国著名笛箫演奏家。现为中国音乐学院国乐系教授、硕士生导师。 六岁随父亲学习竹笛，十二岁成名，著名演奏家、教育家、南派笛子大师赵松庭先生的关门弟子。中国音乐家协会民族管乐研究会、中国民族管弦乐学会会员、中国竹笛专业委员会副秘书长等。自幼师从赵松庭先生、蒋国基先生，后师从张维良先生。
Chen Yue was born on April the 9th 1978, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. She began her playing the traditional Chinese bamboo flute (dizi) as a child, receiving her earliest instruction from her father. By the age of 12, she was already a well-known local performer and was sent to study privately with the master teacher, Zhao Songting. In 1993 she entered the Middle School of the China Conservatory of Music, where she was admitted as an undergraduate in 1996. The next year she was invited by China Central Television to participate in the national celebration of Hong Kong’s retrocession to China. In 2000 Chen graduated from the China Conservatory of Music and was the first woman to receive a Master’s degree in traditional Chinese flute performance. While at the China Conservatory, she studied with such modern flute masters as Zhang Weiliang and Jiang Guoji. Following graduation, Chen began teaching flute at the China Conservatory. @@shiqowb5450 a zither is a term for all string instruments that have a board like resonator and is either plucked or hit. In other words a piano is a type of zither and the specific zither used in The Untamed is called a guqin

I love this 清心音-亂魄抄 whenever I listen to this, I think of 孟瑶。 . There's just something about him that I really like...Although he is evil but yet not all evil. He has his good sides too. His eyes, his smile, and dimple some time makes him look so sweet and innocent but at times his eyes look so innocent but his smile is so evil and at times both his eyes and smile are so evil. I can't help but to like this actor in the tv drama, Untamed..as much as I hated him for all the evil things he did yet I can't bring myself to hate his character too much because I understand why he is who he is. He's a very good actor..His eyes can just do all the talking ..haha...IMO and now I'm happy to know who is the one that plays all Untamed OST that has flute pieces... I bought the untamed OST at Apple Music. No mention which artist behind which piece of music only the name of the composer, Lin Hai is being mentioned but anyway, a great composer and great musicians and actors and actresses.but now I want to know who is the person that plays the guzhen?
孟瑶 isnt "evil" he simply just wants revenge on the people that hated him, disliked him and just never liked him or against him. Yet no-one stands on his side no matter how much times he tells/says he gets mistreated.

Yes ,I do understand that time and time again ,no matter how he was badly treated especially from his own father he just keep on trying to be some one that his Father will be proud of but time and time again his father abused and mistreated him and over time his resentment grows deeper and stronger .He wants to hurt those who hurt him because he wants them to feel the pain that they had inflicted on him physically, mentally and emotionally. But his method is very cruel. Not that no one stood by him he had two sworn brothers that actually cared and stood by him .蓝曦臣 willing to die with him even when he came to know about all the things he did. .赤锋尊 raised his status up when he came to know how the others talked bad about him behind his back when but in the end he was the one who killed 赤锋尊 . That’s why I say he is both good and evil or rather cruel. The actor 朱赞锦 really did a magnificent job in portraying 孟瑶 character. Excellent!!

I do sympathise him as his dad has never acknowledged , praise feel proud of his illegitimate son no matter what he do. All his anger, hurt, fear and insecurities are build up inside of him over the years because of his Father. But at the same time he has no doubt done a lot of bad things that hurt and kill so many people..My focus is on the actor who took this role and I think he did a perfect job in portraying that character
