I wish people would just learn to separate an artist from their political views. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and they shouldn’t have to feel like their views says anything about their merits as an artist or their craft.

You cant even hear him in the song from what I understand. He helped write and produce the song. They cant have the song without him. Plus i bet they planned this way before the normies started to care about what was happening in Gaza

I am not going boycott the song because honestly what will that do. Yes he probably might believe some things that make him a Zionist but he isn’t alone. A lot of other Americans believe similar things and people are allowed to believe what they want. Listening to the song won’t send millions of dollars to Israel to destroy Gana. If anything their collaboration with Coke would be more impactful than this.

Bro it obviously earns them more money, no matter how little you're still basically supporting them
N it's not just "believing some things" please.

I’m not boycotting. Did these same fans boycott any other Charlie Puth collab in KPop? This guy has worked with literally everyone including BTS. These fans might as well quit listening to KPop because this is hypocrisy at its highest. Boycotting SKZ doesn’t help Gaza nor does it stop Charlie from having problematic ideals. That can only be changed through education and forgiveness. Silencing haters doesn’t do anything. It just helps hate to spread underground and unchecked.

Ok. now try to rewrite this comment thinking that you have a friend! or a family member!! in gaza. How would that feel??!!!. Answer: you Would have boycotted even the color blue for them.
Boycotting is not just to stop/reduce their money making process, it's also to let people know more and more about the situation, and to gain more support against the cruelty. Cuz now nothing is going to work better then boycotting (even the smallest amount of money is beneficial for them; and we don't want that)

@@BouchamAla No one is a villain for boycotting nor deciding to stream the song. What I’m saying is if we look hard enough, we will find that artists that we like have probably worked with a problematic person. Do we suppress all that is good about the artists we enjoy to punish the one who was wrong? Where do we draw the line? Everyone has a right to an opinion and no matter what stance you or I take, we’re neither a good or bad person either, we’re someone with a belief and someone who is entitled to it. If I boycott, I feel good about my personal choice. However, I want to channel my advocacy into supporting those that want to help the innocent people impacted. I want my impact to support SKZ too. So, I’ve opted for advocating for requesting a reissue of the song that does not feature Charlie Puth. I also advocate for helping victims of war. I also plan to support SKZ in other ways. Generally, I don’t listen to CP anyway. I want love and peace to win at the end of the day. Blessings.

@BouchamAla But it goes both ways. The victims in Gaza were both the kidnapped Isreals and the current Palestinians

Dude it's just music. I get it because I am not here showing my support for israel, but this was something that was planned probably before October 7th? I would guess? There's usually a lot of time before these things come out. But not going to lie it's a really full month for Kpop fans and I want Maestro to win as much as possible.... I'm just going to stay neutral and listen to it about as much as I probably would anyway which is maybe once or twice unless it really hits good.
