Come on now..give us a longer video of behind the scenes for the studio sessions..i absolutely love that kind of stuff! Their older albums had nice long videos.
Think there will be a whole making of documentary just like for past albums. Just not sure when.

Emperor of Sand released two weeks after my father died of cancer. Hushed and Grim released one week before my brother committed suicide. Both albums have helped me more than I can say. Excellent work fellas, keep it up.

One of the best songs they've ever made. Perfect blend of proggy, groovy, emotional and catchy.
before this my favorite Brann vocals song was Steambreather. Then this came out and it just took over. I love his tone soooo much.
Yeah, he's great on songs titled with compound words that are the combination of a type of water and an agent noun.

yep..some of the fans criticized him as he did not sang well during live performance. All I know the guy was talented, his vocal was good and the drumming was insane!

It’s astounding how much talent is crammed into one band. Every member is completely unique and instantly recognisable stylistically. They all pull their weight and each plays an important but different role to the rest with world class ability on each instrument and then 3 guys with superb, complementary and drastically different singing voices. A once in a generation band.

Brann’s vocals are so clean, and I don’t mean to detract from it but FUCK it’s like Troy uses his entire being for his vocals.
Hushed and Grim, like Emperor of Sand before it are slow burners but they definitely grow on you!
This album has helped connect with my emotions and cope through what probably is one of the toughest times of my life , my dad's terminal cancer. Knowing that the whole concept of this album is based around their sorrow and grief of losing Nick to cancer makes it even more powerful, meaningful and emotional to me.
Best song on the album, and one of my favorite Mastodon songs ever.
Bran's voice is of that of an angel. I wish I had a singing voice half as good as his.

Really nice to see the evolution of Brann's melodies. I'm really proud of you guys, Mastodon have been one my favorite bands of the last 10 years and you never disappointed me.
This came out around the time my gf of 5 years broke up with me, been 7 months since and I’ve rediscovered my love for one of my all time favorite band’s and the band that got me into metal-MASTODON
Goddamnit this song is amazing. Gets better every time I play it. And I'm up to like a thousand or so.
I hope you guys have realised what you have created. Possibly the best album to come out in the last 20 years. I don't say that lightly...an absolute masterpiece of an album. Nick will love on forever through your music.
