8/10… he is unknown, but young and in demand. Mansfield Towns defense was amazing last year. They barely lost any games until the end of the season. If he is a reason behind that then we are looking promising for the competition in league one. Cleworth, Brunt, O’Connor would be a nice young defense for the next few years

This is the type of player who will develop and rise with the club into the PL. He looked great when Rodgers brought him out against Spurs and the FA cup. Very hard worker with Finesse. Versatile ball playing center halfs are very hard to find. Very mature for his age.

I like signing a younger player that had a good run playing first team in League 2 ... Parkie will have seen film on him last season, and if he thinks he's a League 1 caliber defender, there's every hope of him growing into a Championship level defender, which is what we need to see with some younger players if we want to get up again without spending several contract cycles in League 1.

Mansfield must be really kicking their wounds, a player they made very clear they wanted to sign on a permanent going to their biggest rivals has to smart. Parky knows who he wants, he’s got Okonkwo now this lad, it should make for a good season, plenty more to come. It certainly helps when you've got chairman that listen to their manager👍🇬🇧
Wrexham are not our biggest rivals 😅 but this is the difference, you have to money to be able to offer more than us, it is what it is. We've signed 4 players on free transfers, one being an Australian international. Brunt was good, we just weren't able to afford what was being asked I'm assuming, because our chairman does get the signings Clough usually. You'll always have the advantage in signings because of the exposure, and for some players that's big for them

17th! Liam, the team next year will be exiting to watch. I’m still planning on watching in person this season sometime. Just not sure when it will be. IMO they need a Young replacement now. Though, Cannon really came into his own this season with the team. I'd like to see him get a fair chance in league 1.
At striker, I'd like to see all of the current guys get a chance to show they're more than qualified. Unless they can sign a striker that is young and Championship ready right now.
