These types of videos are so informational and without a doubt will help someone who is needed to replace the axle seal. The amount of money a shop would charge for this type of job would be really steep i imagine just in labor alone. You explain the steps well and get right to the point. Great job.
Hey buddy, yeah I think that’s the cool thing about CZcams is sharing how to videos. I know I watch them myself and pick up tips and tricks here and there. Thanks for checking out the video my friend hope you have a great weekend!
Hey ruyguy, Yeah I suppose they haven’t changed much over the years. Yup I bet you have put a few of those in your self. You’re like me, always work on our own stuff. Thanks for checking out the video my friend!
Hey man ! I really like your maintenance videos like this, 1) you have the most amazing shop ever, that's every guys dream ! 2) you have a lift 3) lighting is perfect ! Annnd I could listen to the sound of air tools all day haha I love it. It'ssure nice to watch someone who really knows what he's doing, it's like you did that 1000 times. Did you used to be a mechanic of some kind? Side note: Can we get a video on that beauty old white Chev truck you have there, holy crap I don't see many like that around my neck of the woods.... Canadian Winters are hard on cars..... Salt on the roads, Salt in the air haha
Hey buddy!, Haha Yes I work on cars for a living. I’m a mechanic for Nissan& Infiniti dealership. Not able to retire like Q yet. Anyways yes I love the shop makes it convenient to work on stuff. Oh yeah I imagine the salt you guys use for the roads really takes its toll on vehicles. I bought the truck out of Kentucky over 10 years ago they don’t use Salt, so it has no rust. Glad you’re liking the maintenance videos really appreciate you checking them out!
It’s been a long long time since I had to work on a Yamaha I need a new transmission case for my 2006 Yamaha Rhino 660 Thank you for the great video you uploaded
@@kcatv9556 yes the case I was told cracked and it’s inside the motor housing from what the mechanic told me which is why it is so high in price to repair or replace. I’ve been trying to think of something that I might could use to replace the motor and transmission in it and use something like a Honda motor and transmission from a quad
I love these shop videos you do. Always a good job of explaining "how to" and you get straight to the work without filling our ears with a bunch of preamble that puts us all to sleep - lol So, as usual, I have a question: Was your diff oil milky because you got water in it or because of the type of oil you use? (I was assuming "water", but thought I should ask) Can't wait for the wheel bearing video - YEEEEHAW! - I love this S#!T
Hey buddy, Yup shop videos to fill the time slot till rides begin eh Another guy was asking about the diff oil as well looking milky? Yup that’s the way it looks in jug. Thanks for checking up video buddy always appreciate it!
Great shop video , well I just like your shop lol . I was trying to watch tv but you blurred it out lol . It’s almost like you have done this once or twice before 😂
Hey Buddy, haha yeah I forgot all about having the TV on when I was filming. LOL I knew if I didn’t blurr it out I’d be stuck with the copyright thing from the CZcams LOL Yup done it a timer or two working on cars for a livin I bet you’ll enjoy the wheel bearing video. Working on it right now as we speak. Trying to get it shortened up don’t wanna make it a long video. Thanks for stopping by and dropping a comment my friend!
Good video my friend, looking forward to seeing the wheel bearings replaced. And Q, as far as you go, you have a Honda so you don’t need to worry about it breaking down😂🤣
Hey Steve, haha Yup Q doesn’t have to worry about axle seals and wheel bearings! LOL Actually editing the wheel bearing video right now. LOL Thanks for checking out the video Steve and appreciate the comment.
Looking forward to your next video. So, for the seals, there is an inside lip on the passenger side, but no inside lip on the driver side? Looking fwd to seeing the wheel bearing replacement.
Hey there factionfx, That’s correct there was no inside shoulder for the left side seal to bottom out on. Working on the next video now hopefully you enjoy it. Thanks for checking at this video.
Hey Norm, Yeah buddy I bet you guys are in the deep freeze right about now? For sure I gotta keep good seals in the diffs definitely don’t want water to get in. Thanks for checking out video my friend!

@@kcatv9556 I'm jealous
Would it work better if you made a wooden dowel the same diameter as the seal to hammer it in? Just a suggestion but still enjoying these dyi videos

Where did you buy the seals?
Hi CDN, Ordered them through Rocky Mountain ATV. Thanks for checking out the video.
No issues with the front seal?
Hi C.Torino That’s correct front axle seals are not leaking. Thanks for checking out the video!
