Fun fact: Cheese is actually itself, a mold, hence when mold I added on to cheese, it doesn't affect anything. It's basically mold on mold.

I grew up in a house that was on a low down (in a town that was based on a hill) industrial district so there was a lot of mist and humidity in the mornings. We were always coughing, there was a lot of mould in our house. Do not underestimate how much this can cause issues for your health.

When i was a kid i ate some moldy edam cheese, thinking that it's normal since cheese is fermented.
It tasted bitter yet still acceptable, and luckily nothing bad happened to me. Perhaps it turned into something similar to blue cheese by accident, and i ate a luxury food without knowing it

One thing worth mentioning: cheese is rotten milk where the degradation was controlled such way that it remains edible and has actually a better shelf-life.
Similarly, beer, fish-sauce, soy, some meat, and probably a dozen other things are made in similar manner. This fermentation inhibits uncontrolled rot and adds flavor.
I actually developed childhood asthma due to a mold infested apartment when i was an infant. The mold in my case was black mold that grew behind a closet in my room.

While I was in training at Naval Station Great Lakes up north of Chicago, two of the barracks' on the base had an outbreak of black mold. Not long after I transferred away to my next training command, those two barracks' were demolished.

I'm DEATHLY ALLERGIC to Penicillin, so I have to be really careful about what I eat. I always have to do the "Sniff Test" on bread. If it even smells sour, I have to throw it away, no matter how much is left. And now, I find out I can't eat Blue Cheese, either. Thank you for protecting me from accidentally poisoning myself. @@teenmonster8667 Yeah, it can. My Paw Paw was the same way. I also have an allergy to Nylon, so I have to watch what clothes I buy. I'm also allergic to Amoxicillin and Sulfa. Sulfa causes Stephen Johnson's Disease in me. So, every time I have to get a prescription, I have to make sure about 10x's over, that I'm not allergic to any part of it. Also, I can't handle regular Tylenol, Aspirin, etc. I have to strictly take Midol whenever I have a headache. It's because Midol is made to be strong and effective, yet gentle on the system. It's tough, man.

Hee reminds me when I was in high school and one girl was trying to gross me out by going on about the cheese sandwich I was eating had this and how she leaned about it in class my answer to her rant was to look her in the eye and take a huge bite outta my sandwich and go Mmm mould sandwich leading her to be grossed out and leaving me alone to enjoy my lunch in peace

I accidentally ate spoiled cheese that was days old It did not look bad no mold spotted tasted fine but smelled horrible and the cheese was the type of cheese you sprinkle on food or whatever.

I lived in an apartment full of mold and even though I havenât lived there in 3 years I canât get the smell out of my nose. People tell me itâs psychological but I donât think so. I think itâs inside me. I even have black streaks in my mucus sometimes.
I totally valid what u are going thru.. u arenât crazy. Mold stays in the body....You need to take a binder like charcoal, bentonite clay, zeolite, or the rx CSM or welchol to bind to the mycotoxins. U can get nasal sprays at a health store. I highly recommend looking into consulting with a mold literate doctor who knows about mycotoxin illness, chronic inflammatory response syndrome....it can cause a plethora of health issues and needs to be addressed by someone who knows what it actually does to the body...a lot of doctors donât. If u need more help, let me know
